I would like to talk about something other than the brewing quarterback controversy and that would be our budding star PP21. It was great to see him have a solid game in the secondary in addition to his game-winning heroics. He did get a pass interference call (which looked bogus from where I was sitting) but overall he played well.

What really interested me was when he was in on the offense. Unfortunately the play clock ran down and we had to call a timeout, so we did not get to use him on the play. It looked like Skelton motioned PP into some kind of odd wildcat formation with Skelton, Stephens-Howling and Peterson in the backfield. I would really like to see how the coaches want to utilize Peterson on the offense in the future. Anyone know if he can throw the rock? Maybe we'll try to use him in a similar manner as we did with Antrel Rolle in the past. Either way, get the ball in the kid's hands. He's dynamite.
