Thank God for Ronnie Brown over Cedric Benson.....I found this classic mugshot of him, but if you look at the police checklist.....well, take a look for yourself...

Ronnie has not been the player we thought he was just yet, but at least he's not this douche bag. That said, I think he'll be one of the hottest second half of the year players. Barring injury, the line is shaping up and he should be starting to feel 100% later in the year. Let's just hope he doesn't go drunk boating!

What does it mean?

So now they really don't need McFadden. So here is an interesting thought: At one point Atlanta had options: McFadden or Matt Ryan. Now, they truly need a QB. Based on FA moves, Miami has made it at least appear that Ryan or Jake will be the pick. Maybe we can play this into a trade with Atlanta? It could be one of those trades where Miami takes Ryan #1, trades to Atlanta at #3, then we pick one of the Long boys? I think St Louis takes Jake, but you never know. Thoughts?

Anybody see this from www.profootballtalk.com? Some banter from the Chargers Nick Hardwick about how Richard Seymour is a dirty player. I've always contested that Seymour is one of the most overrated players, so it makes me smile when someone else hates him too. Always fun to see candid trash talking too.....

The last time the Chargers lost to the Patriots in the postseason, running back LaDainian Tomlinson complained about the antics of certain Patriots players after the game. This time around, center Nick Hardwick went off on one specific Patriot following the San Diego loss.

Specifically, Hardwick accused defensive lineman Richard Seymour of being a dirty player.

"There are 10 [bleeping] good players on that team," Hardwick said, according to the Boston Herald. "But Richard Seymour is a dirty, cheap, little pompous [expletive]. He's cheap and dirty and the head man just let him get away with it the whole time. They've got 10 great players on that team and when Jarvis Green comes on the field, they've got 11 great players who compete how you're supposed to play. But Richard Seymour is the biggest [expletive] I've ever played."

So what did he do?

"Head slapping, foot stomping in the pile, running by and throwing punches in your back," Hardwick said. "He's a [expletive]. . . . There were a lot of things he did. There's a field goal where he was stomping feet. Who stomps feet? And the officials weren't doing anything about it. He plays like a punk."

So what if....

There will undoubtedly be tons of discussion over the next two weeks about the future of Miami coaches. I see tons of optimism from the fans over the past few days, which is absolutely great, something I think we all needed.
But, for the sake of conversation, what will everybody be saying if Bill decides to keep Cam on board?

So at first I was disappointed in the Cleo Lemon decision, but now I've had a chance to think through it, I've realized some things. All along we've been debating Cam's employment, he doesn't do this, he made that bad decision, but NONE of that is an issue if he wins games. Prime example: Dick Jauron challenging the Miami play when he was out of challenges, resulting in a 15 yard penalty. They win, so nobody even mentions it! If the Dolphins were 5-8 right now, I highly doubt the Miami fans would be after his head. Winning trumps all. So at this point, the team, the coaches, the owner, just want to win a game. Even the fans say that, but then we also want to develop the rookie QB. So if you're Cam, and everyone is pushing to fire you, where is the incentive to develop a rookie QB? I'm sure he recognizes the need, but the truth is, everyone needs a win, as meaningless as it is at this point. I agree Cloe isn't a great QB, but he gives us a better shot at a victory on Sunday. Lets pack up our reservations and start outright rooting for this team to win a game. I have no desire to be part of history again.

Bobby petrino is out in Atlanta. he resigned to coach at Arkansas. Can he convince Mcfadden to play another year in college? Does it matter? There's one team looking for a coach going into next year.
