A quick look at 2014 targets

It's still very early and I don't want us looking too far ahead, but this was a very interesting read for those so inclined w/r/t recruiting.

A Sports Illustrated article hyping up the 2013 Football season

I just love hearing good things about UCLA. Good things being mentioned about X, Hundley and the UCLA conditioning regimen.

Johnathan Franklin is posting an impressive all-around performance at the NFL Combine

A lot of the media buzz wants to compare him to Ray Rice or Frank Gore. He certainly has the frame. You can look through other Bruins combine performances here:

Jonathan Franklin's interview with

As always, Franklin represents UCLA in superb fashion. If he blows them away at the combine, we might see him go in the first round come draft day.

8 Recruiting analysts give their predictions on uncommitted prospects

Vanderdoes, Fitts, Hollins, Morris and Woulard are expected to become Bruins by a majority of the analysts. However, 6 of the 8 writers are predicting that Myles Jack commits to Washington. Anyone notice anything else?

Franklin and Barr make second team on AP's All-American list

The X-Man makes third team. It still boggles my mind that Barr can lead the nation in sacks in his first year at LB. Good for him.

Erik Bunte decommits from UCLA

It's behind the firewall. Bunte has also tweeted about Sonny Dykes being hired as the new Cal coach. So I don't know if the decommit was about something UCLA did or if he always had Cal in mind.
