I just filled this out, if enough people request more video content and such we may get it. I like the idea of having more access to player and interviews, etc.

If you're one of the many that complain about the Colts website, go take the survey!

Check out this video. Dude is getting back in shape after a bit of a down year last season. He's played a lot on a stout Dline, sounds like he's still working toward full medical clearance. He's been in contact with 6 teams. I guarentee the Iggles are one of those teams, might the Colts be as well?

We shall see.

To be honest, I'm pretty happy with big Mook, possible Nevis, Mathews and Ogbu all being in the mix, in fact we probably won't have a chance to retain all of those players, so I think it's a problem of too much depth, which is a nice change at the DT spot this offseason.

Stay healthy boys!

Bust through and through...

I'm glad they've really stuck to drafting football players recently. "Mudders," as I've heard Peyton call them, are the types of guys that can't wait to put pads on and compete. Hopefully Castonzo, Ijalana, McClendon, etc. are all the "Mudder"-kind of Olineman going forward.

I like it - plays a lot like Clint Session. Talented, forceful player.

Doesn't fit our profile of DE or DT but definitely a stout run defender and maybe and recliamation project that Terrlinck can mold into a baller!

His most recent Twitter status says he's going to Indy. I don't know if that means he's been signed or if it's just a tryout.

Nothing like signing some more "B1G" players :)

Here is his SI Draft Profile: Draft Tracker Sounds like a Colts TE!

I work about an hour from his parents restaurant. I'd look to try it out, but I'll have to do it after work sometime.

Can we get this dude a little time with the coaches, please!?!?!?!?!

Sad news on a possible very happy news day. Wow, just wow. Caldwell is driving away all of our storied and envied assistant coaches.

Article talks about a number of different players, including Colts #49, Chip Vaughn. Sounds like he's trying to bust his butt and get in shape so he can contribute next season. I, for one, am pulling for him.

We need safety help, right? Let's hope that the Colts' front office saw that as a possibility and invested in some of the right resources since this was a bad draft class for safeties and obviously, as we saw - we didn't draft any.

A part of me really believes that between Mike Newton (who the players called "Mini-Bob," sounds like a vote of confidence to me), David Caldwell, Al Afalava and Chip Vaughn we have back-ups already on the team. Just need to resign Bullitt and Silva as long as his rehab gets him to a good place.

Just arrived this week as the Vikings guys are training down there as well.

I saw elsewhere that he had been training with former LSU head coach and Philly Eagle's D-line coach, Pete Jenkins.

Hopefully his work prepares him for what we need him to do next year. Stop the run and get after the quarterback. Not counting on a major contribution from a rookie DT, but I boy can dream, right?

Delone Carter - the Topps cards are using their college jersey #s from what I understand. Obviously, NFL runnings backs can't wear #3.

Still gets me a bit amped.

A bit of overacting by our old pal, Raheem Brock and former Texan and current Seahawk teamate Chester Pitts. Funny premise though.

Style very similar to Addai, Colts brought him in for a workout and we called him twice during the draft to set up the groundwork for signing him to an UDFA contract, interesting.

Don't know what that means about Addai, maybe nothing... but it makes for a more interesting title :)

Interesting read, basically blames injuries for both players not turning into strong contributors.

I don't really remember Pollak being that injured during 2008/2009 offseason, can anyone refresh my memory?

4/26 - "Visits/Workouts - Wyoming safety Chris Prosinski had official visits with the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Philadelphia Eagles during the pre-draft process."

From the article:

"The Colts retained Pitcock's NFL rights and he worked out for them on a couple of occasions until they waived him prior to last summer's training camp. They considered allowing him to compete for a roster spot, he said, "but they thought maybe I would be a distraction." "

I ASSUMED we just let the guy go and THEN he decided to come back, as if he just didn't want to play for the Colts but it looks like they were much more hands on than any of us realized. I, for one, would be happy to let him jump start his career again right here in Indy, especially if he's up to 329-lbs and is still as athletic as he used to be (ahem, NT anyone?).

Not a whole lot of football info on him that I can find quickly, however...

Here's an article about the NCAA granting him another year of eligibility after he spent 2 years in jail before being acquitted for murder. Some question about whether the shots were fired in self defense and such. Either way the character-conscious Colts are looking at a prospect with previous jail time, so I would think that must mean he check out. We'll see.

You'll have to rummage through the photos from the Pro Day the same way I did. Image 35 is a clear picture that we were there, in fact it kinda looks like Chris Polian. Can anyone tell for sure?

We at least had 2 reps there as there's a shorter red-headed gentlemen photographed as well with a Colts jacket.

Another report from NFP about a 2011 NFL Draft prospect who's aparently on our radar. It doesn't say anything regarding a visit or workout, but does state that the front office likes his "aggresiveness and tackling ability."

Surprisingly, another big DT is on the radar for the Colts according to the National Football Post. Alabama A&M defensive tackle Frank Kearse has caught the eye of a number of 3-4 teams as well as some 4-3. Supposed to be a really solid run defender and was a team captain last year.

He's due to be in town for his medical check up and will apparently work out for us as well. This guy was mocked to Carolina and at least in the top 3 until the medical concerns popped up. Billed as "the next Julius Peppers" after his play last season.

I think we have enough DE talent, but the Polians are at least focusing most of their attention on Dline and Oline which I like.

Small school pass rusher getting some serious interest from 3-4 and 4-3 teams. He's the Division II all-time sack leader (46) and third all-time TFL (70.5). He's from the same school, Colorado School of Mines, as the "Vanilla Gorilla" - Blaine Sumner, who's a NT sleeper.

We should take this as a sign that Polian is actually willing to move up to make sure he gets the OT we need in this draft. Every mock draft I see has Smith going earlier than 22.

This kid could start immediately at RT and possibly turn into the next perennial Pro Bowl LT in a year with some NFL coaching.

I'm excited about this report.

A questionable NFL Combine snub this year. He's seen as a later-round prospect who's smart and has been an achor on solid TCU teams in both 2009 and 2010. He was First Team All-American by SI.com in 2009 and won the 2010 Rimington Trophy (awarded to the nation's top collegiate Center). He has recently met with the Patriots and Bears.

Adam Caplan reports that we're scheduled to have him come for a visit before the draft.

Anyone following the draft has probably heard plenty about this guy. The Colts are probably just doing their due diligence but he does seem to be gaining a lot of interest among the draftniks and is seen as a riser.

I'm a Painter fan (don't run me out of town) and I feel that it's still too early to be looking for Peyton's successor, but if a guy that can contribute falls into our laps, we probably just need to be ready.

National Football Post reports that the Colts attended a private workout of New Mexico's Byron Bell. Seems like his stock is rising but a lower-round prospect.

Guy compares himself to Michael Oher and sounds like a high character kid. Plus he's big.

Created some buzz at Auburn's Pro Day running a DE-like 40 time and showed good athleticism. A riser on a lot of boards after that apparently. Auburn has been pumping out D linemen over the past few years, and now their D-line coach is with the Titans (how lovely, right?).

Here's a local paper's take on his Pro Day.

Here's his NFL Draft Scout page.

2010 stats - only 1 sack, but 8 TFL and 8 QB hurries sounds nice.
