Disappointed
The really sad part about all this? If there's a lock-out next season, the players will have over a year to sit on what happened without being able to do anything about it on the ice. This series debacle might be the last memory of the Penguins until 2013. Wow. That's depressing.
It's tough that as fans we are so powerless. Nothing much to say or do. I can't defend their behavior but considering how long I've loved this team, this has been very difficult to watch.
What made you a Pens fan?
I'm not sure if this has been done before, but nonetheless I thought we could all use some summer entertainment haha. I notice that a lot of peeps on Pensburgh (myself included) aren't from Pittsburgh. Makes me wonder, how did you become a fan? Here's my story:
In the late 80's I discovered the awesome-ness of Mario Lemieux and he quickly became my hockey hero. And being an animal lover as a child, it was a no brainer to cheer for his team, the Penguins. I've been a fan ever since.
So what's your story?

Meet Kris Letang and Jordan Staal!
This is for any Penguins fans living in the Toronto area, Kris Letang will be at A.J's Sportsworld in Vaughan signing autographs on March 1st, and Staal will be there on Thursday, February 25th. Just thought I'd let everyone know in case you wanna meet some players :)
Remembering Toews' Concussion
I found this article from 2009 when Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews was knocked out with a concussion thanks to a Willie Mitchell hit (wasn't suspended). He missed 6 games (about 2 weeks of action). As for long term effects... he went on to be the MVP of the Olympic hockey tournament, as well as winning the Conn Smythe and Stanley Cup in 2010. Just thought I'd post this, in case anyone was looking for some encouragement regarding Sid. Go Pens.
