I was reading through the local Sabres blog at Die By The Blade and I came across this article. After reading through it and seeing the small amount of money Mr. Enroth desired ( "$725,000 range") I immediately thought Lou should send him an offer sheet as the Sabres apparently don't seem too interested and wouldn't care much if he walks. I have faith in Enroth as I saw a few of his games throughout the season and he put up some great numbers and looked good doing so in his rookie season.

He appeared in 14 games for the Sabres posting 9 wins, 4 losses, a .907 save % and a 2.73 GAA. If the Sabres aren't interested in him, then I see this as the perfect opportunity to send him an offer sheet and let him play in Albany backstopping what should be a much better team than last year. Once Brodeur's contract is up after this season, we can give him some solid NHL playing time. Keep in mind this is the first time I have ever really posted here but once I saw that article I knew I had to let you guys know. Thoughts?
