A Colt fan living in Kentucky. I became a fan in 1994 with the Colts selection of Marshall Faulk in the draft. Up until that point I was not much of an NFL fan, but a college football freak. I was a huge fan of his at San Diego State and decided to follow him as a pro. I spent an entire summer job paycheck on an authentic Faulk jersey in the home blue that year. Despite the trade to the Rams, he will always be my all-time favorite Colt. I remember loving the Bill Tobin era and then hating it not long after. Allowing Ray Buchanon to leave and signing Carlton Gray shortly after still boggles my mind. Other than the obvious ones, my favorite Colt memory was fourth-down stand right before half-time against the Steve Young led 49ers in 1995. Seeing Jason Belser bowling his helmet on the field is still vivid in my mind, Not quite as vivid as that rainy night in Miami.
