Just got back in from the Tides v. Bulls game and I had the chance to see Sarfate pitch. I'm not certain but I think this was his first performance of his rehab in AAA. Though I'm not a pitching expert by any means I thought he looked fairly good from where I was sitting. His fast-ball seemed sharp - touching 96 mph a couple of times and the rest seemed to hang around 94.

His off-speed stuff seemed to be pretty ok as well. While I couldn't really see the break on many of the pitches from where I was sitting, he did seem to fool some guys on a few pitches.

His line: 1 IP 0H 0R 0ER 1BB 1K

He threw 13 of his 22 pitches for strikes.

Hopefully he keeps going strong and we can get him back up in the pen real soon.

Opening Day tickets?

Does anyone know when they usually start selling single game tickets for opening day? I'm hoping to go to the game but because I live 6-7 hours away and don't typically know my weekly schedule I can't justify trying to buy one of the opening day packages.

I understand selling the packages now because it helps to keep the freakin' Yankee fans away, but it sucks for us O's fans who just want to be able to go to the yard for opening day.

I'm sorry for soliciting this here, but I have two tickets for the O's vs. Blue Jays game on Thursday Sept. 27 that I need to get rid of. I got the tickets as an exchange for a rain out and it looks like I'm not going to be able to make the game since I live in KY and the school year is proving to be more busy than I thought it was going to be.

Before I tried to sell them elsewhere I thought that'd I'd at least try to sell them here to some real fans.

The tickets are:
Section 84 Row BB seat 9 and 10.

They list at $27 dollars.

I'd like to get $20 out of each one, but go ahead and make me an offer.

Email me at:
howard [dot] benjamin [at] gmail [dot] com
