The COLTS COULD beat the Patriots.....

Now I am not jumping on or off the bandwagon. I have been on the Colts train a long time and I am just enjoying the ride and seeing where it takes us. With Miami and San Diego laying eggs, the Colts have a real shot at a playoff game. But who is coming up this week? None other than OMHR (our Most Hated Rival) the New England Pats in a game in their house with their weather.

The Patriots always pose a challenge for all teams. Are they vulnerable? You bet, especially their defense. As Mike Reiss for ESPN Boston writes, the Bills racked up 481 yards on the Pats. And if there is one strength the Colts have, it is their offense and its long play abilities. The Bills were 7 for 11 on 3rd downs and gained 187 yards after the catch.

We know that New England's offense will shred our defense. But it might be a shoot out. It might be a lot of fun. It MIGHT equal a win. And then WE would have the better record than the Patriots....How fun would that be?

Does anyone else think that "Boomstick" Mcafee sounds like Oog from Aqua Teen Hunger Force?

Adam Schefter reporting Bruce Arians is new Offensive Coordinator

Arians was Pittsburgh's former OC who's contract was not renewed. As you may remember, he was with PM the first 3 years of Manning's career. Apparently Pagano and Arians used to work together in Cleveland as well. He is pass happy. Maybe that's a good thing for Manning, but it also means Christensen is out which may be a bad thing for Manning. But they did used to work together here in Indy. Hard to read into this one

Acknowledges that all our woes are due to the Colts themselves. Defense has always sucked, but with Manning, it was overcome. Blames the front office for never helping the Defense. Goes on to explain why the Patriots could survive without Brady (their Defense was ranked 4th that year) and why Pollian is to blame for all of this (and why Bill may be gone at end of the year)

This piece is on Sports Illustrated's web site. It will be in the magazine, but appears to be the full story on the site. You read this and think that this could be happening anywhere! Holy Cow. I read it straight through. It reads like a script to a movie, which it likely will be, and just might already be optioned to be. Will help the boy get his money back after being suspended as an agent.
