#7 pick +Biedrins/Jefferson for Paul Pierce?
Would you agree to deal Jefferson and the 7 pick for Paul Pierce? I think I personally would. The Celtics are going to let KG and Ray go, and I think Ainge is going to go into full tank mode.

Am I the only one who thinks Biedrins is playing very well on defense and rebounding wise this year? His offense is still timid at best but he's doing a great job blocking shots and cleaning up misses on both ends amirite?

He definitely should have been drafted with his solid college performance, workouts, and measurements. At this point have you heard anything about him and where he might be headed? I'd like to know because he intrigues me as someone who could be a quality big down the line, which makes him going undrafted even more unfortunate. He could be a good low post threat, and he's got some of the biggest hands on record according to DX.
Mark Jackson: The Next Singletary?
I'll be honest, i've liked Mark Jackson's enthusiasm since he was given the head coaching job. It hasn't really been intelligent or anything like that but its nice. However, i think he and the FO are setting him up to fail. All of the catchphrases, playoff guarantees, preacher like comments seem to much like Mike Singletary when he first was given the head coaching position. So i'll leave it at that. I hope he does well, but setting expectations at the playoffs with a largely unimproved roster may not be healthy.
The more I talk to people around the GSWs, the more it's clear that Kirk Lacob, son of the owner, is a key voice in the draft room.
I personally don't mind this over Riley. What are ya'll thoughts?

In the NBA, I believe your top 3 players are the main contributors to whether you win or lose. The Boston Celtics owner outlined the plan at the Sloan Sports Analytics Conference.
"That began with a standard business move: analyzing high-performing organizations to determine how the Celtics might build its own. 'We looked at the last 25 NBA champions,' said Grousbeck. 'Twenty-four out of twenty-five were won with a big three concept -- three all-stars. [That big three included] a top-50 all-time player and two supporting all-stars.'"

I asked Jackson if he would play Curry more than the 33 minutes per game Keith Smart doled out. The coach was non-committal:
"We will look into it. Steph Curry is an outstanding basketball player, and if he defends, he will be on the court"

I really like this draft...just not where we pick!
The late teens to the end of the first round this year seems to have a lot of depth this year. I would honestly love if the team could somehow buy 2 or 3 picks in this range and possibly trade our pick to get rid of Biedrins. Guys like Tobias Harris, Darius Morris, Chris Singleton, Lucas Noeguiera, Reggie Jackson, Nikola Mirotic, and Jeremy Tyler all seem like great picks in that range who could really come in and help this team.

I'm not well aware of how to evaluate most NFL players right now. I know most of the traditional stats like QB rating, yards rushed, catches, etc. I know these really aren't giving me an accurate view of the players however so a few questions...
