I grew up a Minnesota Twins fan. In 1992 I was moved from Minneapolis to Greeley at the age of 14. My family has always been HUGE baseball fans.
I was fortunate enough to see the Twins win 2 world series. I was at game 6 - 1991 World Series. From that point on, I was hooked on Baseball.
Moving to Colorado was a shock. There was no MLB, but we knew the Rockies were coming. I was fortunate enough to be at Opening day 1993, and began my love of the Rockies.
In my career as a fan, I've seen more than my share of baseball history
-Game 6 & 7 of the 1991 World Series
-Hideo Nomo NO hitter @ Coors
-Cal Ripken's 3000th career hit
-1995 wildcard clinching game vs San Fran
-Phillies LDS Game 3 clincher
Although the Rockies have had more downs than ups, it makes us better fans for sticking with them. Ill forever remember the 1995, 1996 and 2007 seasons for being special, and look forward to many more sucessful years.
