I once was paid to write about sports for a living. Now I just do it for free on SB Nation Arizona and Twitter... unless someone wants to help me take my talents somewhere other than the unemployment line.
Since I was a kid growing up in Phoenix I wanted to be a professional sports writer/radio host. Now as a 26 year old married man, I get to keep dreaming about it.
I've been a Phoenix Sports fan since the late '80s and have suffered through the lean years of the Arizona Cardinals, the Paxson three pointer, continuous first round losses by the Coyotes and Santonio Holmes' second foot never coming down (yes, I'm bitter). I also went to the University of Arizona during the John Mackovic years so I know a thing or two about losing.
When I'm not butchering the English language and attempting to compile humorous one line jokes about Phoenix sports, I'm sleeping or arguing with the 40 bobble heads in my office.
Think of me like SB Nation Arizona's Buddy Ryan or Dennis Green; I talk a good game. Just be happy we don't have a football team I have to coach.
