Evan Rodriguez at Minicamp (video)
Looked a bit slow, although I'm excited to see his blocking skills later in camp.
Bears sign 7 UDFAs
Most notably Troy offensive lineman James Brown, for all of you who wanted to crucify Emery after during the 7th round.
Bears sign ex-Broncos CB Wilhite
Looks like another depth move...
Chiefs among several Routt suitors
If this is indeed true, then the possibility of them franchising Brandon Carr could get slimmer.
Vikings part ways with D-Line coach Karl Dunbar.
Although the Vikings' defensive line amassed 50 sacks this year, it appears a coaching shake-up is under way in Minny. With our defensive line playing as flat as it did at times this past season, and the goal of adding youth opposite of Julius Peppers, the Bears should consider seeing what this guy can bring. Paea and Okoye are young and promising players to work with on the inside.
Knox didn't mess around -- Hit the gym this offseason
After I saw some brief media footage of him running routes last night, his bigger arms immediately stood out. Reading this article earlier today proved it. Although I doubt he can bench more than Bennett, I think we'll finally be able to see that missing physical element in his route running. Good job Johnny!
I am done respecting Jerry Angelo
As the lockout finally got wrapped up two weeks ago, it was more than just the end of a long wait. It was more importantly the beginning able to once again see all the players in action, and follow the management as they go forward to bolster our team and address the holes in the roster with quality players, as they prepare to challenge Green Bay for the division title. It is not very often that you have a team that has so much potential, so close to reaching a Super Bowl berth, with so much money to spend and leap forward. For the first time since that horrendous performance against the Colts more than four years ago, Chicago fans can finally embrace the possibility of having a perrenial contender in the NFL. It seems the management has finally made the aggrressive moves to make a push for the promised land. After being pleased with the draft, I have also been content with a majority of the moves in this incredibly short and fast paced off season.

Harris moved to SS; Manning likely out of the picture
"Chris Harris to be moved to his more natural strong safety position when the Bears hit the practice field for the first time Saturday in Bourbonnais, Ill. That will clear an opening for Major Wright, the club's third-round pick a year ago, to slide into the starting lineup at free safety."
-That leaves Steltz, Conte, and Bullocks (?) behind them in the depth chart. The Bears could possibly consider adding a veteran backup presence. Thoughts and opinions?
Bears @ Packers moved to 3:15 kickoff
This will be another marguee game for our Bears to disprove another wave of hate, the most recent one from Yahoo Sports. Most importantly, a win will cement a 1st round bye.
Lambeau Field will then be next!

Richard, Kurz waived
How much money does this move save us?
Bears could still consider adding veteran QB
With all our back up quarterbacks being very inexperienced, adding a veteran QB in the mix would not hurt. Money is probably the main factor, though.
Ron Turner joins Indianapolis
The Colts hired Ron Turner as their wide- receiver coach.
FS Josh Bullocks, a restricted free agent, signed a 1-year tender earlier today. With the Bears in great need of a solid DB, what does this mean? Is Jerry Angelo just securing a decent backup, or are we in for more of the same "happy with what we have" excuses for next season?
