Rumors, Rumors... The Brothers [Grimm?]

Rumors, Rumors... The Brothers [Grimm?]

While having my morning coffee... I saw the above, and almost choked to death on scalding hot joe.

 In the back of my head, and since WR Deon Butler's outstanding mini-camp performance, etc., [in spite of his size, this guy is something special - mark my words.] I've been wondering when WR Deon Branch would get traded, and for whom, or what...

It is a rumor... and, I think a lot of the articles in the "ESPN Insider Rumor Mill" are just that - rumors - designed to get people spending the extra money for the "Insider" service. But, with the possibility of having both Jones brothers, I found this especially intriguing in spite of the fact.

Feedback, gentlemen?

A Question for Field Gulls:

via i292.photobucket.com

 The Hill re-signing has raised a rather significant question for me. Especially in light of John Clayton's reporting on the particular clause in Hill's contract which provides a guarantee of $15 million - regardless of any potential NFL suspension in the foreseeable future.

 Now... I understand that he's not even been formally charged as of yet, however let's go forth in a strictly hypothetical sense - no matter how premature.

Question(s):

 Based on the history of similar situations in the league, what are your opinions on how this situation might play out? Have similar situations in recent history yielded single, or even multiple game suspensions? How might the league come down on this thing?

Thanks.

Some great interviews, and commentary. Broc Huard has some really good things to say about the way Tapp and Bryant look compared to last year. Says Tapp looks significantly bigger and stronger than last year. Bryant looks great as well. Burleson seems 100%, too. [Mind you, this is just via eye-shot, but....]
