Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician BET Tickets

I'm heading down to NYC today at noon from Syracuse. I've been scouring both StubHub and Craigslist (by Owner only) for tickets and I haven't seen any tickets that I am too interested in. Anyone have any extras that they are looking to get rid of? At this point I need one for tonight (Semi-finals). I'm not sure if I'll need extras for Saturday night but I figure I'll worry about that after our game today.

Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician Sour Sitrus Society

So I'm sure this is random to most people or you don't even notice it, but when did Sitrus stop playing Espana! to start their halftime music?

I haven't noticed it being played at all this season but didn't know if there was a reason. I'm trying to recall if they didn't play it last year or if it is only played once we get to Big East season. Anyone have a clue?

Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician Bologna runs deep

Now I know we are all well aware of Doug Marrone's infatuation with Bologna sandwiches. It's so popular, there is a t-shirt dedicated to it. But what we didn't know is just how important Bolgna sandwiches are to the history of Syracuse.

In the ESPN Big East basketball preview, Jim Calhoun had this to say about the Big East, "I was coaching at Northeastern when Dave Gavitt and [former Syracuse athletic director] Jake Crouthamel went up to Saratoga and, over a bunch of bologna sandwiches, put this thing together. Connecticut has never been the same since, and in my opinion, this is where we belong. But what you want isn't always what you end up getting."

Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician No waiver for Weaver

According to this AP report on ESPN, Aaron Weaver will not receive a medical hardship waiver from the NCAA.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse coach Doug Marrone says fifth-year senior receiver Aaron Weaver has not received a medical hardship waiver from the NCAA.

Weaver, a transfer from Hofstra, tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in practice last week and is out for the season. He caught six passes for 88 yards and one touchdown in Syracuse's first two games.

Weaver played three seasons at Hofstra but did not play as a freshman. Hofstra was unable to provide Syracuse with documentation of an injury that might have prevented him from playing his first year. Such documentation is needed for the NCAA to consider a medical hardship waiver.

Weaver transferred to Syracuse when Hofstra eliminated its football program after the 2009 season.

Ugh!

Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician Club44: Discriminating since 2009

Just received an email from The Athletics Department letting me know that I can buy a membership to Club 4 4 for the football season. Note that the club is an oasis for discriminating fans...

I get what they were trying to say, but they could have said it a little better. Although that Valet shuttle service is intriguing....  It would actually be worth it if it was valet parking. But then again, I think the cost of that would have to rise a little bit.

Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician Recruiting

I just saw this post on Syracuse.com regarding two recruits that will be visiting Syracuse this weekend. Charley "Ridiculously Good Looking" Loeb is expected to make an official visit as will David Oku.

Oku is apparently the #1 All-Purpose Running Back in the country. Oku is committed to Tennessee. And the reason to think that we might have a shot at landing him? He was recruited by new Syracuse coach Stan Drayton.

Wow. Just wow.

Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician HoyaHacka

Did Matt at HoyaSuxa change his background or did he get hacked by a vile Georgetown fan who, by the simple fact that he or she is a fan of the Hoyas, can take no glory in only their 3rd victory in our last 11 meetings? I find it curious that he would change the background and find it much more likely that someone happened to mess with his blog.

It is one thing to trash talk before and after a game, but hacking into a blog and changing the background and making a fake post is just absurd.

Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician Doug Marrone may have a Merry Christmas after all

According to Mike Williams' facebook page, Doug Marrone just got a big Christmas gift.

With the return of Mike Williams possible, Marrone has another piece to build on. If he is able to convince Arthur Jones to stay for his final year, the Orange definitely will have some talent on both sides of the ball and would make it easier for Marrone to rebuild (sorry, this isn't a rejuvenating effort) the football program.
