Rockets are playing FOUR STRAIGHT BACK-TO-BACKS
Bedgers, as a Blazer fan I think it's awesome that one of our rivals is facing such a treacherous schedule (see Adelman's reaction). Anything that helps us make the playoffs at this point is welcome. However as an NBA fan, this is truly unconscionable scheduling. If the Blazers were faced with four straight trips like this, I would be crying foul. Back-to-back games are the hardest to play, especially with travel between places like LA and Orlando, overnight. That is ridiculous. And the same people who set out schedules for Rockets games set out schedules for Blazers games. I've been following this league for years, and I haven't seen anything quite this absurd.
If this kind of schedule is more common than I think it is, I will readily accept my ignorance, but from what I can see, it's completely unacceptable, and I don't even like the Rockets. Just when I thought the NBA couldn't get any lamer, between David Stern and Howard Schultz and the refs the Gasols trade and MJ's draft picks, the freaking schedulers, of all people, drop the ball. This is annoying to me because if it can happen to Houston, it can happen to any of us. I know after last year we and Houston are postseason enemies 4EVER but there's a pretty good post about this over at The Dream Shake, so go show them what Bedge is all about: basketball and compassion.
