How many of you guys are really excited about this "game" ?

Even though its Central Texas its the heart of my Red Raider country. Maybe its just I am Dallas and Id rather be on vacation, than host but you really cant beat the Hill Country (yes, I am assuming rain in 2012)

Its early enough it will still be warm, hopefully great weather.

We should all have some dove in the freezer by then,

and its a game we should be able to be confident.

There are three guys listed as QB targets for the 2013 Class

Kenny Hill- 6-1 205LBS Pro Style, Southlake

JT Barrett - 6-1 209LBS Dual Threat, WF Rider

Tyrone Swoopes 6-5 220LBS Dual Threat, Whitewright

Looks like we are going to the dual threat, which generally means (at the HS Level) running QBs, maybe a shade better passers than the guys classified as ATH but not by too much.

This senior class has benn through more than any team in the country. The transition from the Leach doing more with less to the Tubs and Jeep doing what ever it was they were trying to do during the 2010 season. Tubs took leaps in recruiting and from what the NFL thinks we were really behind. Colby Whitlock being our only participant in this years combine. While:

Baylor - 2

Atm - 2

Colorado - 3

Mizz - 3

OK - 4

OKSt - 4

Tex - 5

Neb - 9

 Yes I understand we have a small graduating class and the differences between the NFL and collge game but even Baylor and Colorado had more raw talent, thats tough to take and hopefully things are chaingin on the South Plains!

Im not a big NFL fan but I do love watching the combine. Its facinating when elite guys (Julio Jones, Patrick Petersen)  stand out above an already selective group of extreamly talented players.  

Tubbs on Bill Kings Rivals Radio Sirius 122. He mentioned several things and outright said that he doesnt believe the league will last long and there are lots of teams/schools that dont trust one another. That the league was saved because thats what Texas wanted and bottom line that was the only reason why things went the way they did. (not in that media Texas saved the XII way either) He went on to compare that Vanderbilt and Florida both make the same from the TV contracts in the SEC. The host is loving it, claiming Tubbs is the and replaying the drops.

This repeats quite a bit, maybe you can catch it and is on XM as well but im not sure the channel number.  

Last year the game was available through CBSSports Online.com, Anyone know? Or still suscribe to this service? I know its on local TV in LBB but I dont think those networks have the rights to put that out on the internet.  

The coverage wasnt bad but watching on the computer doesnt work really well for my demographic, Guess Im not young enough to really get that whole thing. six more letters, three more letters  

I am thinking of attending the game at the Denton ISD stadium tonight Denton Ryan vs Little Elm, does anyone know if these games usually sell out ? I found the stadium website but no information on tickets. This is a good opportunity to see the future of Texas Tech and hopefull some quality HS football. This should be a good high scoring game, if you dont know take a look at the points that are being scored by Scotty. He will more than likley break all the records set by Graham. Both teams are undefeatted going into tonights game.

    So suddenly the Red Raiders are media darlings? Turns out that now the entire country has found out what we have always known, that Mike Leach sells the most entertaining football on the planet.

 These guys are not about the truth, they are about ratings. The worst offender is ESPN/ABC/Disney. The best games are always the games they broadscast and they are very powerful. I know you will say they promoted the hell out of the SEC game in Baton Rouge but that one is undeniable.
