The Broncos will host free agent DT Derek Landri on Friday.
Landri played starter's snaps for Carolina last season, grading out well below average in Pro Football Focus' player ratings. The Broncos should be aiming higher at defensive tackle, but Landri can at least take on a rotational role.

This is probably the most information I've read about the kid. Thought I'd share.

Most likely will be another late edition to the 2011 recruiting class. It's a little confusing as to whether he will be a PWO or on a scholly. He played at Lamar HS in Rosenberg, Texas(outside Houston) and is cousins with Michael Lewis, Jaquizz Rodgers and James Rodgers. He is listed around 5'6" 165 lbs and plays wr/rb. He is projected to play kr/slot wr and possibly db at the collegiate level while running a 4.4 40. He was named section 23-4A Utility MVP of the year as well as First Team WR his senior year.

Great for him! But was this a cost cutting move? Act of desperation? Vote of confidence? Last resort? Who knows...the Stoops! Anyway, good luck to Ryan. I hope he succeeds and eventually makes his way home.

Deron Williams was traded to the Nets today for a few of the draft picks we coveted in the Melo-drama, Devin harris and Favors. I guess we get to see what could have been first hand in the the Northwest. I still think Favors is a bust, the draft picks are still unknown.

CU needs to get this kid. I will guarantee he has a huge senior year. Not to mention the kid is massive, I saw him on the Colfax bus downtown and recognized him instantly. He is a beast and already has a ton of yards and big game experience. PICK HIM UP!!! Then go for the triple crown and swoop up Leilon.

Could it be that Scott follows him too? I think I read Ringo saying that he was release to UofA. I also seem to remember a week before the D Scott signing these two were pictured together, Darrel throwing up the Hook em' sign at the US Army All Star game. I like many of you wish this would have never happened because we all know the correlation between 5 Stars and getting drafted in the NFL.
