If the Yanks are still not set on using Cabrera in CF then maybe Andrew Jones might be a solution.

He is an excellent defensive CF with the speed to cover the spacious outfield in the Bronx. You can plug him in the number 7 hole and if he comes back to the hitter he once was, move him up to a 4-5 hitter.

I am not sure what kind of money he would command.

2 questions:

What is your toughts on A-Rod batting 3rd in front of Tex? You can't pitch around him and he won't be relied on so heavely and maybe talk some mental pressure off of him. Besides TEX is a much more of a selective hitter.

I would love the yanks to have a much better leadoff hitter to put pressure on the pitchers with speed is there any one out there?

What do you guys think about Sterling and Waldman?

Sterling's long pauses late in games kill me. I feel that despite him being the "voice of the Yankees", his time might have passed him by. Late in the games he seems to tire and hurts the overall play by play. He also seems to call the homeruns too early, I know that is his style but I am not big on it.

I haven't been much of a fan of Waldman and wish they would get some else. She is too much of a cheerleader for the players, don't make me mention the "OH, MY GOD, CLEMEN'S IS BACK" speech. Damn, I just mentioned it!

 Do you guys think it is too early to throw is the towel and rebuild for this season onl?

 They have a pile of Free Agents like Mike Mussina, Giambi and others that are having very solid years and could get back a AAA stud in return. We don't have to make a run EVERY season, do we?

 They have lost 2 games to BOS so far and if it continues, I would love to see the Yanks be SELLERS for once and get back some your studs to add to their young talent. Saving that money (rookies are cheap) will also free up more cash for star players like C.C Sabathia and Texiera and maybe an OFer as well.
