4.6 40... vs 4.4 40's...... thats a big difference at the next level but, he is sure handed. I wouldn't hate the pick because like Abberderis, he is a master route runner.

If you are looking for the durable big bodied guys that have speed I would say you are down to Moncrief and Latimer in the 2nd round... Both are 6-2 and around 220 lbs and run a 4.4 40...

Tradeback looks to be the best route and get an early 2nd and early 3rd in compensation. CBS has David Yankey in the 4th round now too.

They could tag Smith if they didn't feel good about Bridgewater at that point.

No one because he will be the next flop to hit Minnesota.

Didn't McNabb play like dogshit and was injured alot from 2005-2007 and wasnt his backup horrible? No wonder they drafted Kolb.... Smith has been playing anything but

Not true... Baalke gave him a list at Dinner and Smith told him to make KC happen because of Reid.

Kolb was still a 2nd round guy.... Eagles passed on him once. Chiefs only have 6 picks this year and no 2nd rounder....
Commented on Should the Chiefs take Teddy Bridgewater if he falls to No. 23? on Apr 17 2014, 2:39p - 1 reply
BS they can trade him for picks... Picks they lost acquiring him. Smith knows this. He would rather control his own destiny and go to a team he wants to go to if the Chiefs want to move on.

If we don't go WR at 23 and are planning to use our #23, we better be taking a OLB and DE. If Cooks, Lee, and ODB are gone and we can trade back to get a 2nd and 3rd we should do it...

I am just not as pesemistic for next year.... Especially if we get someone like Brooks or Dowling at FS in the draft and someone like Brandon Dixon at CB in the draft.

Why would the front office be so vocal about wanting to resign Smith this offseason then? They knew the talent at QB comming out of the draft this year, yet they were very vocal that Smith was their guy.

Its not like Alex didnt take advantage of the turnovers but the defense was a sturdy as a wet paper bag down the stretch. I mean a High School defense could have protected that lead.
