Turf Show Times Bittersweet Victory..... Hopefully

The Rams have been my favorite team since I was about 7. I was there for the good and a lot of bad. Since being a Rams fan I didn't care for the 49ers or Cardinals, but I HATED the Seattle Seahawks. If you asked me I couldn't tell you why but something about that team I just don't like. After enduring some hard years with the Rams, I can say that controlling our destiny with a win against the Seahawks is amazing to me. We could lose but ehh... fuck that I believe in my team so I'm not gonna think negative. Plus my season was complete(not really but it was really fun to watch) when we handed them an embarrassing loss of 20-3. I didn't think the Rams would be in this position although I did think we could compete. I can't wait for Sunday if we win it doesn't matter who we play in the playoffs, screw it as long as we make it in and the Seahawks get to enjoy a long vacation... I'm good. I just wanted to know how you guys feel about this weeks challenge and the circumstances. BTW congrats to Steven Jackson on the Pro Bowl even though you should have had a friend or two come with you *COUGH* *COUGH* James Laurinaitis and O.J "the juice" Atogwe.

Turf Show Times Making a case for Jimmy Clausen

I remember someone on Turf Show Times talking about Jimmy Clausen and they used the site http://walterfootball.com/mattblog091229.php. Now i dont remeber who it was who used this info but I found it valuable. I think Sam Bradford is good and if healthy he will be a force, but that is the problem IF. I dont care what people say just because your healthy for your pro day and individual team meetings that does not mean that your not hurt. The wear and tear on his shoulder ( remember twice) will never be back to full strength, while Clausen does get injured too there is one thing that I cannot question and that is his toughness he was hurt for most of the year last year and still played. Jimmy Clausen has a strong arm, is accurate, and in my opinion his confidence is what makes him a good leader. My questions to you all is Sam Bradford or Jimmy Clausen? and Why? What do you like and not like about the two quarterbacks? Oh yeah please check out that link, very interesting information.

Turf Show Times Good Afternoon Turf Show Times

Brian Stull of 101 ESPN, St. Louis stated that pending a physical and health concerns that Sam Bradford is the highest on their draft board. To be honest I would LOOOOOOVEEEEE to have Suh on my team but Sam Bradford is really good. Has questions in the injury department and the first thing that I thought was hmm cough bulger cough. What do you guys think, because if bradford is the pick why would the rams take him first? shouldn't they just trade down and then take him? what are your thoughts?

P.S. This was said on ESPN's First Take

Turf Show Times Conerback Status

Hello everyone I think that defense can really help our rebuilding team and there is one thing that I have noticed as a Rams fan what I have disliked. Every since the 2002 season I have been pissed off with our defense ....uhhh.... actually that revolving door we call a secondary. Are secondary has featured jaw dropping names such as Tye Hill, Fahkir Brown, Jerametrius Butler, and Travis Fisher. The Rams still have Ron Bartell which to be honest with you I am surprised he has made it this far( I have to give him credit He has done a really good job and if I remember right he was drafted the same year as first rounder Tye Hill). My question is what kind of changes if any at that do you think the Rams will make this year to the secondary? Whether it will be draft, free agency, or via trade? and one last point Suh is not the next coming of Warren Sapp, but he is a good player and hopefully a future Ram and our offense does need major work but the Rams need to fix an on going problem that has been occurring for years and years which is our defense.

Posting and Toasting What Happens if there is no Lebron in 2010?

Even though I believe that Lebron is leaving Cleveland in 2010 why should the Knicks make all there plans for a person who may or may not be on their team. Cleveland could also make additions just like the Knicks to lure Lebron to stay and should we really consider not signing David Lee or Nate Robinson. There is no doubt that this year we have to sign David Lee and I am a fan of Nate Robinson, but what Knicks need in a point guard is someone who is going to be THE floor general. That is why they went after Chris Duhon because that is his skill, just off the bench. If there is no Lebron who do the Knicks go after in 2010 to fill that void? If anyone is thinking Dwayne Wade ....forget it there is NOOO WAYYY DWADE is leaving Miami. If anyone is thinking Amare Stoudemire he is a good fit but the Knicks need a post presence and Amare isn't that he is a pick n roll dunker/mid range shooter, but not a guy who is going to back down a defender and get deep into the post. Don't get me wrong he is a good power forward and I would love to have him on my team, but I do not know if he is the best fit.Chris Bosh to me is the best fit he does all the things the Knicks need he plays defense( who ever thinks he doesn't they need to check his stats plus others stats against him), he is a good post presence, solid mid range shooter, with a 6-10 frame, the only problem is that he is softer than porridge and not forgotten he is skinny like a twig. It may seem like I don't like whats ahead for 2010 but I do, I just think there should be a back up plan. KNICKS draft Stephon Curry or Tyreke Evans (preferably curry), make sure you sign Lee, Make sure that in 2010 that you get Amare he has strength because you can teach him to be a better post presence, AND hope to God that Lebron is in a NEW YORK KNICKS jersey. I just want to hear feedback from others to gain a different outlook or perspective.

P.S. THE KNICKS ARE DA S**T
