First of all, Boston isn't that Great ....Our #1,6,7,8 and 9 hitters are just that bad... at least right now they are.

Mr. Unclutch "Kendrick" needs to sit down, and Scioscia  Needs to play Izzy. (Just my opinion on that.)

It's not like they are blowing the angels out or just pounding our pitching. Both games have basically been won on one or two mistakes by Angel pitching. Lackeys elevated fastball to Bay, and Sanata's ridiculous 3 consecutive breaking balls to Drew (not sure who to blame that on, Santana or Mathis). He finally started mixing up his pitches a little better in the 3rd inning.

I won't comment on F-Bomb... I mean K-Rod.

But all in all, we have been in each one of the games. Anderson, Tex, Vlade, and Hunter have done a good job. It's the other 5 hitters that are getting owned.

The Angels won't have an easier time with Becket on the mound either. But it IS doable. We can beat just about any team if we start playing baseball how we have the entire season. We need to win. It's not just about this season. It's about next season as well.

Because here is the Sad Truth......... The Dodgers Just Swept the Cubs and will probably take on Philly, beat them and make it to the Series. That Alone Breaks My Heart! I Hate The Dodgers just as much as I hate Boston and the W.Sox. If the Dodgers do make the series and win, our fan base is going to drop. Because lets face it.. There are a ton of bandwagon fans who jump on board with winning teams in this town (Just look at all the celebs at the Dodger game last night). If fan attendance drops, we won't have the resources in the coming years to put together a winning squad. Don't get me wrong, I believe in home-grown talent, but we don't have any Tex's or Hunters in the minors that can produce for us now. There needs to be a balance, and we stand to lose a lot right now. Just on this one series.

If we get swept, we are losers, and the Dodgers are the toast of the town.. Expecially with Manny. And they regain control of our major market. I know we have loyal fans like you and I. But this aint Boston or New York we are in. This is southern Cali where it's hip to be a winner.

So in my opinion, We NEED to win this series. It's always been an uphill battle with the Dodgers for Market Share and unless we prove we are winners.... Moreno's pockets won't be that deep.
