My real name is Mark, and I have been an Angel's fan all 24 years of my life. I haven't missed going to at least 20 games a season since I was 10 and especially look forward to the home opener, that I haven't missed in 13 seasons. Whether The Halos are at the "Big A" or on the road, I make it a goal to watch the game or at the very least DVR "Baseball Tonight" to see how the team did. When I am able to go out to the yard to watch the boys play, I always find myself after the game at the only true Angel bar - The Goat Hill Tavern in Costa Mesa! To either celebrate an Angel victory or sulk over a defeat.
I get along great with all fans of baseball unless they are sporting the Boston "B", Dodger Blue, or Yankee pinstripes. Unless that Yankee fan is my girlfriend, who I of course have to get along with. But my hope is one day she'll come around. At games I am often referred to as "that guy!" from the Angel's opponent fans, because I make it a point to annoy the HELL out people who come out to the park and root against the Halos! Its pretty fun being "that guy" and makes coming out to the "Big A" just that much more fun!
In truth, I am a fan of all sports and primarily teams that reside in so-cal, but nothing outside of my love for my friends and family can touch my dedication to being an Angels fan. Almost all of my most cherished childhood memories have something to do with Baseball and the Angels. I remember what it was like being known as the team that "couldn't do it." And ever since we did "do it", it makes the feeling more special to know that my Angels, can be the team to continue to "do it!" Go Angels!!!
