BEER
August 4th is international IPA day - what's your favorite India Pale?
Mine has got to be one I tried for the first time recently: Burton Baton of Dogfish Head. Its technically a blend of English-style Old Ale and an Imperial IPA, but its awesome. It's 10% alcohol, but doesn't 'drink' like one. Dogfish Head attributes that to the oak aging that the blend sits in for a month, which helps 'mellow' the beer. Its hoppy, but not overpowering, and drinking more than 2-3 will result in 'strong beer hangover that lasts till 8 pm the following day'. Very nice beer though.
Whatya got?

We Are Penn State Mag
came in today! Everything looks awesome, great job guys... I can't wait to sit down and go through it this weekend. I'm really looking forward to reading about the X's and O's of the Spread HD in particular (not having played football myself).
Many times last year my girlfriend would come home and shake her head as I sat on the couch watching a DVR'd game with the WAPS magazine in my lap (usually open to the roster). I am an admitted ball-watcher during the live games, and usually go back and re-watch games at least once... helps to see how the rbs/wideouts are blocking, and who is making good plays on defense that I might have otherwise missed. This magazine helps me keep all the freshmen and depth-charters straight too.
Cant wait for the season to start!

Most are going into this year expecting an 8-4 or (at best) 9-3 season, with the kool-aid drinkers and masochists seeing 10-2 or better through their blue-tinted quadrifocals. Everyone expects close, hard nosed games where the lines determine the winning team's success.
So given these expectations, if you could only win one of our big games (OSU, Bama, Iowa), which would it be? I have been thinking about it for a while, and it's a pretty tough decision...
Do you knock off the defending National Champions with their Heisman winner and OMGSEC skillz, the bully on the block that has dominated our own conference (who definitely absolutely does NOT have a rivalry with PSU), or the up-and-comers that constantly ruin our lives and eat all our steak.
I decided to not include 'Ohio State sucks' as an option for validity's sake.
