Who did the Rangers pick with the picks they got for Carlos Lee? I think Blake Beavan was one of them?

Probably deserves a little more pub. If in fact we did pick Blake Beavan + someone else with the comp pick. Add that to Nelson Cruz and I would say Jon Daniels got a great return on Mench, Nix and Coco. Great example of a trade that was trying to help them win now (Lee) and win later (Cruz + 2 picks).

UPDATE*** Looks like the 2 comp picks were turned into Beavan and Bourbon. So to summarize JD trades:

To Brewers:

Kevin Mench (Bottom of the roster player), Laynce Nix (Minor Leagues) & Coco Cordero (Tier 2 Closer)

Rangers Got:

Nelson Cruz (2009 clean up hitter), Blake Beavan & Julio Bourbon + 3 months of Carlos Lee.
