Due to multiple requests i am starting a new music thread. hopefully i won't get scolded for insubordination. apparently you can listen to Wilco's new album at their website:

http://wilcoworld.net

i'm actually more of a jazz fan. old school stuff from the 30s-60s. I'm actually having a hard time getting 75 words here, so i'll tell about the best concert I ever saw. joe lovano at Yoshi's in oakland, 1996. came for the early set and they let us stay for the second set. incredible. worst jazz show: diana krall, jazz showcase on grand ave circa 1998. she had a cold and kept coughing. she quit after about half an hour and we didn't get our money back.

which can be found here

Here is a bit I found particularly enlightening and explains why the Bears defense doesn't work so well.

The 5 commandments of the Cover-2:

1. The front four must be able to rush the quarterback, because that allows the linebackers freedom.

2. The middle linebacker must be able and willing to drop deep into coverage

3. The outside linebackers must be smart and athletic enough to cover receivers in the middle zone or rally to runs at the line of scrimmage.

4. The cornerbacks must be physical enough to jam wideouts at the line and also tackle ballcarriers.

5. The safeties must be smart and quick enough to break properly on balls in the air and physical enough to create--and survive--violent collisions with wide receivers or backs
