Ok, so let's start out with a confession, I don't watch much college football.... So This Mock Draft is based on research from various sports media websites including CBS, NFL.com, and WalterFootball. As I mentioned this is also my first ever mock draft so if you disagree with my picks I am sorry, but I tried my best and appreciate any feedback/comments/etc.

1. Kansas City Chiefs- OT- Luke Joeckel- Texas A&M. This one is projected by most to be Kansas City's pick, plus the Chiefs need a tackle after the departure of Eric Winston and possibility of trading Branden Albert.

2. Jacksonville Jaguars- DE- Dion Jordan-Oregon. A Fast, Explosive pass rusher is exactly what Jacksonville needs to start rebuilding, Much like the Texans did with Mario Williams.

3. Oakland Raiders- OT- Eric Fisher- Central Michigan. Now I know most people have the raiders taking Sharif Floyd here because of the loss of veteran D lineman this offseason, but that was one of their strengths last season and they already plugged some players in there. I think the raiders will try something different and draft a lineman, so they pick up the second best lineman in Eric Fisher to help protect their young QB whoever it may be, and help open some holes for Darren Mcfadden considering they were ranked 28th in rushing.

4. Philadelphia Eagles-DT- Sharif Floyd-Florida. With a ton of talent on offense and the complete overhaul of the defense underway, the Eagles need someone to help contain the run/ pressure the QB so they do that with this pick.

5. Detroit Lions- CB- Dee Milliner- Alabama. The Lions secondary is probably the weakest spot on their defense with Chris Houston as the lone light in the poorus secondary. The lions uprade their secondary by picking up Millner.

6. Cleveland Browns- DE- Ziggy Ansah- BYU. The Browns have been upgrading their defensive line this year and since Millner was taken by the Lions they continue to build a beast D line by the selection of Ansah, giving them the most improved Defensive Line this year.

7. Arizona Cardinals- OT-Lane Johnson- Oklahoma. The Cardinals now have Carson Palmer but no one to protect him, so they draft the last Elite lineman in the draft.

8. Buffalo Bills-QB- Geno Smith- West Virginia. Though they could use some help at receiver they first need someone to throw to them,so they address that by selecting Geno Smith.

9. New York Jets- DT- Star Lotulelei- Utah. The Jets need help at every position, but since they can only address one and star managed to fall this far they have no choice but to take him.

10. Tennessee Titans- OG- Chance Warmack- Alabama. The Titans already added Andy Levitre but still would like to address their O line woes to open holes for Chris Johnson to once again become elite, and do that by selecting Warmack.

11. San Diego Chargers- OG- Jonathon Cooper- UNC. The Chargers also wanna address their O line, seeing as Philip Rivers needs time to throw and Ryan Matthews needs to try and stay healthy and adding Cooper might just do that.

12. Miami Dolphins- TE- Tyler Eifert- Notre Dame. The Dolphins have a few holes to fix, OT, CB and TE being the most major. The Dolphins are most likely to add a CB but I went with a TE because he can block, and can catch like a Wide Receiver, and because Mike Sherman loves 2 TE formations, but since he is an elite TE they draft him early.

13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers-WR- Tavon Austin- West Virginia. The Bucs have alot of defensive issues but they choose to address that later and pick up the explosive and dangerous slot receiver in Tavon Austin.

14. Carolina Panthers- DT- Sheldon Richardson- Missouri. The Panthers have alot of holes to fill but their defense is their weakest point, so I have them picking Richardson here.

15. New Orleans- CB- Xavier Rhodes- Florida St. The Saints are lucky enough to have Rhodes fall to them, and they don't hesitate picking him up to help build this new defense under new Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan.

16. St Louis Rams- WR- Cordarelle Patterson. The Rams lost both Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson in free agency and need someone to replace them so they get Patterson here.

17. Pittsburgh Steelers- OLB- Jarvis Jones- Georgia. The Steelers defense is getting old and need some new young talented defenders, so they select Jarvis Jones here.

18. Dallas Cowboys- OT- DJ Fluker- Alabama. Demarco Murray has been injured in two straight seasons, and Tony Romo is having no time to throw. So the cowboys upgrade their Offensive line with the selection of DJ Fluker.

19. New York Giants- FS- Matt Elam- Florida. The Giants are constantly getting beat in the secondary so they address that here and add a talented Free Safety

20. Chicago Bears-ILB- Alec Ogletree- Georgia. The Bears were hoping Warmack or Cooper fell to them, but since that didn't happen they select Ogletree to vamp up their defense.

21. Cincinnati Bengals- WR- Keenan Allen- California. The Bengals need a number two receiver opposite of A J Green and hope that Allen can be just that.

22. St Louis Rams- SS-Kenny Vacarro- Texas. A tough, Solid tackling defender that fits Jeff Fishers idea for a defender.

23. Minnesota Vikings- DE- Bjoren Werner- Florida St. The Vikings pick up Werner to eventually be Jared Allen's succesor, but for now will add pressure opposite Allen as well as depth at the D line.

24. Indianapolis Colts- DE- Barkerous Mingo- LSU. The Colts need someone to replace Dwight Freeny and select Mingo hoping he could be that

25. Minnesota Vikings- WR- DeAndre Hopkins- Clemson. The Vikings have virtually no receivers outside of Greg Jennings, so they could add a valuable and talented receiver opposite of Jennings or as a safety net uncase Jennings injury issues continue.

26. Green Bay Packers- RB- Eddie Lacy- Alabama. The Packers have a very talented offense except in their running game. So they decide to change that with the picking of Lacy

27. Houston Texans- WR- Robert Woods- USC. The Texans have a one man passing attack at the receiver core. So they take Robert Woods to address that need.

28. Denver Broncos- CB- Desmond Trufant- Washington. The Broncos major weakness is their secondary so adding Trufant will help heal that wound.

29. New England Patriots- DE- Margus Hunt-SMU. The Patriots hope to add some pass rush to their D line so they pickup Hunt.

30. Atlanta Falcons- TE- Zach Ertz-Stanford. The Falcons need to find a replacement for Tony Gonzalez and decide to do that while their is still a talented tight end left.

31. San Francisco 49ers- DT- Jesse Williams- Alabama. The 49ers want to add depth and more strength to their D line uncase of injuries like last year

32. Baltimore Ravens- ILB- Manti Teo- Notre Dame. The Ravens needed to revamp their defense and start by adding Manti Teo.

Ok, so let's start out with a confession, I don't watch much college football....
2. Jacksonville Jaguars- DE- Dion Jordan-Oregon. A Fast, Explosive pass rusher is exactly what Jacksonville needs to start rebuilding, Much like the Texans did with Mario Williams.

2013 Free Agency/Draft

Ok, so I have been experiencing Dolphin Fever recently, been checking The Phinsider and NFL.com constantly, and even made a twitter account ( @PhantomMonkey17 ). I have decided I will be more active this year, so I will do my first ever Mock Draft this year =] but Right now I wanna post My Wishlist for the offseason which will include Free Agency, and the Draft, I will admit though I don't watch much college football so the draft aspect may not be the best but I will try my best. Anyway let's partake in this journey.

So because I decided to do this so late I missed out on the first two resignings that I was in favor of which is signing Hartline and Starks. Im hoping we can reach a deal to keep Starks longer and open up some cap room since its getting smaller by the minute. let's say something similar to Hartline, 5 year 30 million dollar deal.

First Signing- Mike Wallace- 5 year 57 million deal

Pros- Elite speed, has had at least 6 Td's each season with a total of 32 or an average of 8 tds a year, forces defense to plan around him, has had 1281 yards after catch in 4 seasons and over 4,000 yards which averages about 1,000 yards per season.

Cons- Doesn't run a full route tree, drops passes, not great over the middle

Overall- He will open up room for Hartline and Bess(both capapble of working in the middle), he will force the defense to play deep which will help open our running game, will help our scoring offense, but will drop passes, but hey everyone drops passes even megatron but his tds and making the defense account for him will be worth it.

Signing #2- Martellus Bennent- 4 year 21 million deal

Pros- Great Blocker, learned from Jason Witten, Good hands, Strong/Physical, Fights for the ball

Cons- Above Average speed at best, Not Elusive, sometimes drops passes

Overall- Doesn't possess elite speed or going to make you miss tackles with fancy moves and yes he does drop some passes but again everyone does. He will make up for his dropped passes though by making a touch catch in traffic or scoring a touchdown, he is a physical receiving threat like Jason Witten, he will produce when given a chance. Last year was the first year he was given a chance, and he scored 5 TD's, He is more physical then Anthony Fasano and would be a nice upgrade. Plus with teams focusing on Wallace that will give him more opportunities to make plays.

Signing #3- Ahmad Bradshaw- 4 year 15 million deal

Pros- Fast, Tough, Elusive and Physical

Cons- Injury prone, fumbling

Overall- He has a history of getting injured, and fumbling, but as of recent he has been getting over his fumbling issues, Also he is tough, he usually plays despite being injured and still produces at a great level. He has been in the league for 5 years and has rushed for 4,232 yards and 32 rushing TDS which averages out to be 846.40 yards a season and 6.4 TDs per season which isnt great but also isnt bad considering he only had 90 attempts in his first two seasons. He also has averaged 6.8 yards a carry in his 5 seasons combined with his lowest being 3.9 and his highest being 8.3. This will lead to our next move.

Cut Daniel Thomas- Injuries and lack of production leads to Thomas's Dolphin Eviction

Signing #4-Chris Houston- 6 year 27 million deal

Pros- Consistent, Can shadow #1 Wrs, Rarely gets beat

Cons- Not a ballhawk

Overall- As PFF says he will not be confused with Darelle Revis but he is reliable and will help turn this secondary around especially with Defensive Coordinator Kevin Coyle's Secondary skills. Houston would be a huge upgrade over Sean Smith and could be one of the pieces that helps turn our defense into an elite defense in the next few years.

Signing #5- Eric Winston- 5 year 23 million deal

Pros- Great run blocker, excelled at zone blocking

Cons- ???? Idk, I've heard nothing but good about him

Overall- Great Right Tackle, would help ease the pain of losing Long and would help protect Tannehill, as well as open holes for Lamar Miller and Ahmad Bradshaw.

THE END OF FREE AGENCY, NOW ONTO THE DRAFT.....

Round 1- Trade with the vikings, move back to the 23 pick and acquire their 2nd round pick.

With the 23rd overall pick in the 2013 draft the Miami Dolphins select Desmond Trufant, Cornerback out of The University of Washington.

Round 2- Trade the 42, and 77 overall pick as well as the 18th pick in the 7th round to the Chiefs to get the 34th overall pick

With the 34th overall pick in the 2013 draft the Miami Dolphins select DeAndre Hopkins, Wide Reciever out of Clemson.

With the 52nd pick in the 2013 draft the Miami Dolphins select Cornellius "Tank" Carradine, Defensive End out of Florida State

With the 54th pick in the 2013 draft the Miami Dolphins select Eric Reid, Free Safety out of LSU

Round 3- No Trades

With the 82nd overall pick in the 2013 draft the Miami Dolphins select Gavin Escobar, Tight End out of San Diego State

Round 4- No Trades

With the 14th pick in the 4th round 2013 draft the Miami Dolphins select Ryan Swope, Wide Receiver out of Texas A & M

With the 4th round Compensatory Pick in the 2013 draft the Miami Dolphins select Zaviar Gooden, Outside Linebacker out of Missouri

Round 5- No Trades

With the 15th pick in the 5th round in the 2013 draft the Miami Dolphins select Terry Hawthorne, Cornerback out of Illinois.

Round 7- No Trades

with the 11th overall pick of the 7th round of the 2013 draft the Miami Dolphins select Sam Brenner, Offensive Guard out of Utah.

So I tried to do the most accurate and realistic goals that would benefit us and be reasonable. And as I said I don't know much about college football so I got my college football info off of nfldraftscout.com and looked up what positions I thought we could use at what rounds and what players were there, I then read the strengths, weaknesses and comparisons and thought they would be good fit for the Dolphins. The only one I already knew I wanted as a Dolphin was Deandre Hopkins( My Draft Crush 2013,lol). Anyways this took about 4hours to make so please read, comment, etc. Thanks, I look forward to hearing your opinions.

We all know we need help at wr, and we will address it this year hopefully in free agency and the draft. But our secondary needs help, maybe let Smith go to the chiefs and sign Gholdson? and draft smiths replacement early on? I know Gholdson is a safety but he would sure help our defense. What do you guys think?

So let's start off with everyones favorite position, WR. Just so everyone is clear im not expecting these players to be elite or anywhere near elite.

WR-

Domenik Hixon- He is a player that when Hakeem Nicks was injured and Victor Cruz was shut down emerged to make plays. He's not going to get 1,000 yards a season but he has nice hands and is a good route runner, he would be a solid # 3, maybe even serviceable #2.

Devery Hendersen- Hendersen like Hixon has reliable hands and a good route runner, He might have benefitted from having Drew Brees as a Qb, but he is a above average wr that would be good on any team unless he is being forced to be a #1

Steve Breaston- He is a decent wr with little upside, but with this offense could replace Hartline if we let him walk. He has had solid production besides last year, but could help Tannehill develop as long as we get a true #1 Wr

Titus Young- I know he has attitude issues, but if anyone could keep him in line I believe its Philbin. We probably won't sign him though, He has loads of talent but he could be a cancer to our team, but maybe just a one year deal with loads of situational clauses?

Next I will move on to TE

TE-

Delanie Walker- He is a very good Blocker, has some good speed and decent hands, he was hidden behind Vernon Davis most of his career, He could be what Egnew was supposed to be.

Fred Davis- Davis is a relaible and talented pass catching TE, unforutnately when he started getting hot it was hampered by a season ending injury. He would be good in Miami if he can recover his old form

Martellus Bennent- He is a beast, I paid close attention to him last year cause he was on my fantasy team, He is a relaible, strong, Te that would be perfect in the redzone for Miami. One game he got hurt last year and was limping but kept playing and still catching passes and running decent routes.

RB-

Jackie Battle- He is a tough runner that with a nice line could be a nice addition, and could take over for Thomas

La'Rod Stephens Howling- He is a decent runningback that is versatile and could be a nice change of pace back that won't cost too much.

CB-

Aqib Talib- He had much success with the patriots last year, and would help this secondary become great, only problem is his attitude, might be worth a shot?

Rush LB- Victor Butler(ok this one rotoworld gave me), apparently he is stuck behind Demarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer for the past 4 years but still had 11 sacks and 4 forced fumbles in that time period, despite only starting 1 of 63 games, kinda reminds me of Cameron Wakes stats, Maybe we sign him and see if he could be a playmaker opposite of Wake?

Ok that's all I can think of for Under The Radar Free Agents

So let's start off with everyones favorite position, WR. Just so everyone is clear im not expecting these players to be elite or anywhere near elite.

These are in no particular order but are runningbacks who I believe if available in the later rounds or even off the wire will give you some nice points and turn a few heads.

1. Donald Brown- When you think of Donald Brown you don't think of an all star runningback like Arian Foster, Ray Rice or MJD but maybe you should. Now I'm not going to say something crazy like he´s going to break record books or be as lethal as the above mentioned runningbacks. I will however say that for a runningback you can find anywhere from round 7 to the wire he's an excellent pick. Last year he played for a team that looked hopeless especially at quarterback, the colts quarterbacks last year seemed to always be injured or play like highschool QB's. While playing for the leagues worst team last year Brown averaged 4.8 Yards per carry for 645 yards and 5 TDs. This year is different, they rebuilt their team with some nice tight ends and a rookie quarterback who seems to be the real deal in Andrew Luck. The passing attack should be the Colt's strength and in return open up holes for Brown especially as the clear cut number 1 RB.

2. Rashad Jennings- Rashad Jennings may be the single biggest steal of the draft. I've heard of him going as early as the 7th till aa late as the 12th. His biggest weakness is that he has been stuck behind Maurice Jones-Drew. Jennings has averaged 5.4 yards per carry for 661 yards and 5 touchdowns in 28 games. Last year unfortunately he missed the season with a sprained knee. The reason Jennings is such an attractive pick is because he has looked like an elite runningback in preseason. On 36 carries he has totaled 175 yards on the ground averaging 4.86 yards per carry and 2nd in rushing yards in the preseason. MJD is not budging on his contract which could be disastrous for MJD(See Chris Johnson last year) But looks great for Rashad Jennings. With an improved Blaine Gabbert, a young stud in Blackmon and MJD out of his way this could be the season Jennings breaks out.

3. Stevan Ridley- Like Jennings, Ridley suffers from being behind a talented RB that overshadows him, fortunately for Ridley he has taken over the starting gig after Benjarvus Green-Ellis departed to Cincinatti. Green-Ellis lead the Patriots last season with 667 yards rushing and 11 TDs in the regular season, while Ridley ran for 441 yards and a TD on less then half as many carries which is evident by his 5.1 YPC compared to Green-Ellis's 3.7. Like the rest of my sleeper RBs Ridley benefits from a pass happy offense which consists of Tom Brady and about 500 Tight Ends and Wide Receivers, So in his first year as a number 1 runningback expect great things.

4. Cedric Benson- In my opinion Benson should be taken higher but is usually available later on. Benson will also benefit from an elite passing attack which is a reocurring theme here. The last 3 seasons Benson has rushed for over 1,000 yards and at least 6 TDs. In his debut as a Packer he faced off against his old team carrying the ball 6 times for 38 yards and averaging 6.3 YPC and having a lone reception for 10 yards. If this is a preview of what's to come then Benson could be a great late round steal.

5. Jonathon Dwyer- With both Rashard Mendenhall and Isaac Redman battling injuries that leaves an opening at runningback, and Jonathon Dwyer should shine. So far this preseason Dwyer has liiked unstoppable rushing 10 times for 83 yards and a whopping 8.3 yards per carry. When the regular season begins and his workload is heavied I expect his YPC to decrease but still have an excellent season and turn a few heads. This is my first ever fantasy football post, let me know what you think. I will be doing more soon, next up is fantasy wide receivers.

Will the Dolphins climb out of preseason hell?

Coming into the preseason our strength was supposed to be our Defense, but be it by injuries, or the new scheme adjustments or just lack of motivation we have sputtered and just looked lost. Our offense wasn't much better, our offensive line looking as if Columbo was still starting, our running-backs getting nowhere and our wide receivers being inconsistent. Tannehill looked like the small glimpse of hope we have but that's another story, the truth is our beloved Dolphins are in preseason hell. How will we respond? Coach D'Amato from Any Given Sunday sums it up best.

"Either we heal as a team or we are going to crumble, inch by inch play by play till we're finished. We are in hell right now, gentlemen believe me, and we can stay here and get the shit kicked out of us or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb out of hell, one inch, at a time."

We are in hell right now, gentlemen believe me, and we can stay here and get the shit kicked out of us or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb out of hell, one inch, at a time."

Though it may only be preseason we have a chance to do that this Friday, a chance to start fighting back into the light,to start taking those inches and climbing out of hell. Not just this season but for this franchise that has been stuck in hell for the past decade.

We have a new leader in Joe Philbin who may be the second coming of Don Shula or Cam Cameron. Clyde Gates says it perfectly, B.I.M. which stands for believe in Miami. So why should we believe in Miami or that Joe Philbin is the Next Bill Belicheck? Well he helped develop one of the best and most consistent offenses for the past 5 years, but so did Cam Cameron.

The reason I believe Joe Philbin may be the next great coach isn't just that he is a offensive genius, though that does help. It's his demeanor, he encourages professionalism, dedication, great work ethic, he sticks to his guns regardless of every one else's belief. He encourages respect and pays very close attention to detail. Is he the next great head coach and the leader that will help us claw our way out of this hell? I believe yes but only time will tell. But realize this he took a quarterback with the 8th overall pick that many believed would sit for a year, a quarterback with only 19 starts and already that quarterback has beaten out last years Dolphins MVP.

Is Tannehill the light of hope? is Philbin? Can they be what Belicheck is to Brady and vice versa? Again only time will tell, but this Friday against the Falcons we will see if the Dolphins can finally begin to take those inches and eventually climb back into the light of this once proud franchise.

I also would be very happy if we could get Stevie Johnson from the bills, hes clearly their best receiver and would do wonders opposite of Marshall. Plus I love this guys charisma, especially when mocking plaxico and pretending to crash jet into ground. That earned my respect, not to mention he kinda owns Revis. throw RG3 or Flynn into the mix and our offense would be deadly.
What you guys think?

HawkFire's Bold Predictions For Week 2

So I posted a fanshot about a week ago about my Bold Predictions for the Season. I really enjoyed writing it, so I decided to start doing it weekly but better. I decided to find some evidence to support my bold and crazy predictions, some stats, videos, examples, etc. I know before I might have went overboard a little bit with some of the predictions, so this time Im going to make predictions within reason. Anyways lets begin this journey of predictions, I hope you all enjoy and I appreciate any feedback.

1. Chad Henne will not only have his second 400 yard passing game of the season but will also have a career day in which he will pass over 417 yards and at least 3 touchdowns.

In 2010 The Houston Texans were not just bad in pass defense, they were atrocious. They were dead last in the league, giving up an average of 267.5 yards per game, that is a whopping 4,280 yards for the year through the air. They also allowed an average of 26.7 points per game which accumulates to 427 points on the season. So pretty much Houston's Defense made any quarterback that faced them look like a pro bowl QB. Our Offense in now an aggressive, attack first offense with alot of speed and talent. Our new offense reminds that of a New Orlean Saints offense, which last year averaged 277.6 yards per game. I believe Henne is starting to become more confident, and develop chemistry with his receivers, tight ends and running backs which will result in Chunk Yardage/Big Plays. Our last advantage and reason why I believe Henne will have a career day is Jason Allen, no need to say more. But I will, Allen as we all know was horrible against well pretty much anybody, especially quick or speedy receivers; so we should see pretty favorable matchups if he has to cover Hartline, Bess, Bush, or Gates.

2. Reggie Bush will have his Miami Dolphin breakout game, accumulating 150 + all purpose yards against this Texan Defense.

As I mentioned previously Henne is developing chemistry with his offense, and considering Bush is probably our X-Factor I believe he has a huge day, especially with his work ethic. I don't really have any stats to back that up except the ones previously stated but I do have this (cross fingers and hope this works)

3.The Dolphins beat the Texans (so this one isn't really Bold)

As I stated the Dolphins Offense is going to put up big numbers. And I think there is no way that our Defense is going to put up another game of lackluster, and embarassing play as we did last week especially the very next week. I believe that our Offense will shine this week and our Defense will hold enough that we will get the victory.

Can the Dolphins beat the Ravens?

Well I think the answer is obvious, Any team can beat any team on any given sunday, and in fact Im going to go off subject and make two bold predictions The Lions get the upset of the week over the Jets, and Buffalo gets its first win of the season against the struggling bears. Now onto business, Yes we can beat the Ravens, and this is why we will.

1. The Dolphins have yet to lose on the road(4-0), I know its in baltimore where the ravens are 3-0 but I still believe this an advantage for us.

2. Sean Smith and Vontae Davis will shutdown Balitmore's receivers and/or limit the big plays. It feels great to be able to look on the field and see that the Dangerous Duo at Cornerbacks are back together. You gotta love the determination and confidence "The Davis Danger Zone" has, after allowing Ochocinco to catch I think it was 2 passes, Davis said that it was a waking call for him and he refused to allow him to make anymore catches. Ever since Jason Allen got exposed in the Jets game I have been worried about this secondary, now that he is benched in favor of Smith I feel confident. Smith is going to be fighting this week to prove his worth so that makes this duo even more dangerous.

3.Cameron Wake will get at least 1 sack and enough hurries to frighten Joe Flacco into making costly mistakes.

4. As Matty already stated the ravens have allowed 330 passing yards per game in their last 3 games, So I believe Chad Henne and this offense will capitalize on this and have success through the air.

5. This one goes with number 4, but thought it was important enough to deserve its own number. Brandon Marshall will have his breakout game. Idk if any of you heard during last weeks game, but the announcers were talking about how Marshall looked up his stats and seen that he was ranked 61st in yards after catch, and how he wants to prove that he is a better receiver then that. If you also noticed he then became almost a transformed player, every time he got the ball he stiff armed the defenders and really fought for the extra yardage and was also a few times a shoe lace away from making a huge gain and possible touchdown. So I believe with Marshall playing with this chip on his shoulder that this weeks game is and will be the perfect place to prove just how great Marshall is and get us the win.

These are my five reasons, what do you guys think? comments much appreciated, and hopefully good enough for at least one rec?

10 Reasons Why The Dolphins will beat The Jets this week

1.Home Field Advantage- Its not only at home, but our first home game of the season, and the fact that we have won 2 straight games will pump up us fans even more and give us a huge home field advantage.

2. Orange Jerseys- We are undefeated in our orange jerseys (3-0)

3. Revis is Out- Revis Island will be officially extinct this week, Darelle Revis injured his hamstring in week 2 against the Patriots and will not play against the Dolphins this week. So Antonio Cromartie will most likely go against Brandon Marshall which should be good considering that the two faced each other before and twice last year Marshall had 18 catches against Cromartie and the Chargers secondary.

4.Jake Long vs Mike Devito- So we all probably know by now not only is Jake Long a beast up front and one of the best if not the best Left Tackle in the NFL but also last week manhandled Jared Allen who is a consistent pro bowler. Devito is not on the same page as Allen, maybe not even the same chapter so Jake Long should be dominant as usual.

5. The Henne-Marshall Connection- In the first week we seen Marshall have 8 catches in his dolphin debut, and in the previous game against the Vikings Marshall caught a beautiful 46yard catch from Henne. We are starting to see this duo form a connection and I believe with Revis being out that this tandem comes to life.

6.Cameron Wake and Koa Misi Vs Jets Offensive Line- So we know that the Jets OLine is good for rushing yards but when they pass which they will need to alot I don't believe they will be able to handle both Wake and Misi, they both are explosive, powerful determined and just amazing pass rushers. Cameron Wake is just an overall beast and should have at least two sacks this week, I love this defensive tandem.

7. Vontae Davis and Jason Allen Vs Jets WRs- I personally am falling in love with Davis as a player, he is quick, powerful, stays with any WR he matches up against, is a hard hitter and has great hands. Brett Farve even mentioned that he was pretty much scared to throw it towards him because of how talented he is. And Jason Allen somehow went from a bust to a dominant CB and made this Secondary one of the best in the league thus far.

8. Karlos Dansby- I don't need to say much about him, he is a leader, he is always around the ball, breaks up passes, had that amazing sack against the Bills in week one, had the Game saving tackle last week and just seems to always make plays when this team needs it.

9. R&R Express- So earlier I mentioned about how Jake Long is going to dominante Devito, well now I wanna give props to the rest of the O-Line. Did anybody see how well rookie John Jerry did against that Aggressive d-line? Or Incognito? or Berger? or Carey? they dominated one of the best D-Lines in the NFL and managed to open holes for the R&R Express. This week we have a simiilar task but maybe a little easier, and as long as Ricky and Ronnie hold onto the ball Im sure we can have a great day running the ball.

10. Sanchez Will Make Mistakes- I believe with Strength of our team being the defense that Nolan will dial up some plays that will consistenly pressure Sanchez and will have many great side effects, for example I expect there to be at least 4 sacks on Sanchez; as well as at least one interception whether its by Davis, Allen, or Dansby, or whoever else steps up. This will get into Sanchez's head and cause many incomplete passes and/or interceptions. We only allowed 2 touchdowns this far and both have been within the redzone. One was the result of miscommunication and the other a fumble by Ricky Williams.

Summary

so I tried posting this a few hours ago, but the site went down in the middle of me typing this. So sorry Matty or any1else if we have simillar stuff.

: So overall our defense is Monstorous, and our Offense has the possibility to be just as dominant, possibly this years version of the New Orlean Saints?

1.Home Field Advantage- Its not only at home, but our first home game of the season, and the fact that we have won 2 straight games will pump up us fans even more and give us a huge home field advantage.

4.Jake Long vs Mike Devito- So we all probably know by now not only is Jake Long a beast up front and one of the best if not the best Left Tackle in the NFL but also last week manhandled Jared Allen who is a consistent pro bowler.
Ok, so by now you have seen a million of these posts, free agency, trades, draft, etc. So I figured I would take a turn and put my opinion out there. I was on espn and came across this story and my mind began to wander to how the dolphins could take advantage of this need.

http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcsouth/post/_/id/8420/panthers-may-have-trouble-finding-no-2-wr

Ok, so we have all heard about possibly getting Anquan Boldin for a third round pick, and that Greg Camarillo is the odd man out of our Wrs, he has one of the most consistent hands in the NFL, so I thought, trade our 3rd round pick and Akin Ayodele and get Boldin. Then Trade Cam 2 the Panthers for hopefully a 3rd or 4th round pick, then we addressed our Wr problem 4 now.

Release Reggie Torbor, and JP(we already know hes gone)

And then sign Dansby, sign either Gary Brackett( the colts wont franchise him ), Larry Foote or Scott Fujita ( this addresses our LB problem)

Release Gibril Wilson

Sign Antrel Rolle

Trade down and get Dan Williams, draft Morgan Burnett, Carlton Mitchell, Ryan Matthews, Pat Angerer, Kavell Conner, and Andrew Quarless.

So yeah, I think if we can make these changes then we will be a playoff contender.

Seriously can U imagine Dansby, Brackett, Rolle, Wake, Dan Williams, along with Smith and Davis as our D? Plus Nolan as the D coordinator, wow that would be a sick team.

And then on the Offensive side, Henne having Boldin 2 throw 2 and then Ricky, Ronnie and Ryan running the ball. As well as Hartline and Bess as receiver, I think we would be the team 2 beat in the Afc, I know it wont happen, but just let a few of these happen and Ill be happy. Anyways wut do U guys think?

Ok, so I would love to see Eric Berry slip to us, but realistically that probably won't happen, so I wanna focus on three other safeties we can get probably in the second or third round.

Nate Allen- Height: 6-2 Weight: 206 40 Yd: 4.50

Strengths: Ball Hawk, Smooth Motion, Great Instincts, Tough, Consistent Tackler, Great Motor, Closes Fast

Weaknesses: Not a big hitter, not elite speed, Not Phenomenal in man coverage

Overall: Has potential to be a team leader and solid player, but is no Ed Reed.

Stats: in 48 games played he had 226 tackles, 9 interceptions and 139 yards.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wz5IUfyZjQ

Reshad Jones- Height: 6-2 Weight: 215 40 Yd: 4.60

Strengths: Very athletic, Great Instincts, Big Hitter, Ball Hawk, Great Run Support and Reliable Tackler, Nice Motion

Weaknesses: Not great in single coverage, lack of elite speed, inconsistent interceptions

Overall: Has potential to be an Elite Safety, question is it an elite FS or SS? could provide much needed turnovers.

Stats: In 39 games he has made 206 tackles, 11 interceptions and 174 yards.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kP5nmyNSgk

Morgan Burnett- Height: 6-1 Weight: 210 40 Yd: 4.55

Strengths: Very good fluid agility and motion, Great Instincts, Great Ball Hawking Skills, Very athletic, Hard Hitter, Tough, Is great against the run

Weaknesses: Inconsistent tackling, not elite speed, and sometimes takes poor angles

Overall: Could be a Great Sleeper Pick, Should be solid if not elite safety and great leader

Stats: In 40 games played he has 235 tackles, 14 interceptions and 135 yards.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQf7WNWk7aQ

So, I personally think we should get Burnett, but what do you guys think?

(since my last post wasn't that good, figured id step it up a notch, lol)
