Asmougha Wants to Team with Revis
I almost cried when I read this. Even though it would be unlikely if there is a salary cap next year, i cant even imagine getting a td because the jets would just blitz 8 people on every play. Also, there is some hints of tampering by them saying they have been talking to Rex Ryan to do something. That's not allowed, correct?
Marshawn Lynch=
My new favorite non-dolphin player after that run against the saints. Thats what the phins need: An explosive power back with an o-line and qb who isn't afraid to make a block 40 yards down the field like Hassleback and their oline did. Amazing play.
How does Ross Expect to Sell Tickets
if we might go into the season with the same coach and maybe Chad Henne still startin? . What do you think the biggest name we will hear in the WHOLE offseason? My guess right now is either Cam Newton or Ryan Mallet.
Possible/Confirmed Open Head Coaching Jobs
1. 49er's
2. Cowboys
3. Bengals
4. Raiders
5. Browns
6. Panthers
7. Titans
8. Giants
9. Broncos
10. Dolphins
How do we expect to get a proven coach with 10 spots open?
Which Draft Do you Prefer?
I really am confused right now. One moment I think that Henne is the reason this team is medicore at best. The next moment I say he's young and the playcalling sucks. For the sake of these drafts, lets say Sparano is still HC, Nolan is still OC, and we have a new, aggressive OC. The Dolphins also pick up Logan Mankins, Darren Sproles, and Jacoby Jones and another linebacker in free agency.
Dolphins will make playoffs in 2011 if we do this
If the Miami Dolphins do what I'm about to tell you guys, people would be starting to look at us and see us as playoff contenders a year from now. First off, I think this defense is amazing and will only get better with more familiarity with Nolan's system. Sure, we could use another Inside linebacker to help cover TEs (but i do think Edds might be able to do this) or another corner, but I don't see why people say we need a NT. Solai is playing like a top 10 NT right now. That's not what we need to cover in the draft. For the draft, lets just say we have the 14th overall pick with a 8-8 record. We don't have a 2nd, but I think we have all of our other picks. Who we need to get is:

BREAKING NEWS: Andrew Luck to enter draft as a linebacker! He's better than Crowder!
Time for the Offseason
I dont about you guys, but this season is starting to tick me off. Having our first round draft pick go out early in the season, Jason Allen starting most of the season, two QBs getting hurt, and having 2 offensive lineman that are in the same position they started the season and healthy (Jerry and Carey). So this has got me to believe that our season is over because
1.We are probably 3 games out of our division
2. We have no tiebreakers against any top wildcard teams (Steelers/Ravens or Jets/Patriots)
So now I'm focusing on 2011. This is assuming there is no lockout.
The Draft
After seeing our team play this season, I know the one crucial part almost every other team has besides us. SPEED.
Patriots- Brandon Tate
Jets- Santiono Holmes
Steelers- Mike Wallace
Bears- Johhny Knox and Devin Hester
Ravens- Ray Rice is not as fast as the others but has the power that the others are lacking.
All those teams we lost to. And each player (except for Holmes- suspended) made a huge impact on us. Speed can change the momentum of a game in a split second (i.e. Brandon Tate kickoff return to start 2nd half). I see this being one of our crucial needs that we need to address in the draft. A good time to do this would be in the 3rd and 5th rounds. Yeah i said it. 3rd AND 6th. I think that we should look to get a speedy 3rd down back in the 3rd round that is good with screen plays and a 4th reciever that can come in and scorch a defense, making those safties back up. The last couple of weeks, I have liked what I have seen from Hartline and he is show a lot of improvement, so I don't think that is a need.
With the 17th overall pick in the NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins select:
Mark Ingram, Alabama.
When I watch him play, I get more and more impressed. He is Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw combined. Hes got the physicality of Jacobs and the breakaway speed and vision of Bradshaw. I'm sorry for being a hater, but Ricky and Ronnie have to go. We can pick up a backup running back in free agency, like the Bears with Chester Taylor, who can come in and contribute quickly. With our other draft picks we should get a center (4th round), tight end (5th round) and other DL and OL late.
Free Agency
I don't about you guys, but I haven't even noticed Koa Misi the past 3-4 games. I don't think that he can handle the big outside tackles that he is going against and he doesn't have the quickness to make up for it. That's why I say we go into free agency and pick up a OLB and either move Misi to backup or move him inside next to Dansby. Either way, we need to find an OLB or a ILB to work with Dansby. We should also pick up some O lineman. Mankins anyone?????
Staff
Dan Henning goes. First day the season ends. Prove a point to the team that was his fault and build up their confidence. I think we should go after an OC who is not afraid of making risks. I'm hoping that the Texans coach Gary Kubiak gets cut and becomes our OC. Thats my first choice. I also think that Sparano is a great guy, just not a great coach. I think Bill Cowher is what this team needs
Quick question about waiver wire
How long does each team get to decide if they want that player on their team? Just want to know the soonest the Dolphins could get Moss.
Jared Odrick Fan Chat
People posted their questions and Jared Odrick answered them. Seems likea good guy.
Who has a great mind like the FO- Mock Draft?
We're going to have a competition to see who can think the most like Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland.
Here are the points for the mock draft tell me if you like this idea or if I should make any changes:
Must put that you are trading up or down at top of your post!
Miami trading down- 20 pts.
Miami trading up- 50 pts. (very unlikely)
Call what team they trade to: 10 pts
1st: 30 pts.
2nd (if you put it into your mock) 30 pts.
3rd. 20 pts
4th 20 pts
5th 15 pts
6th 10 pts (you have 2 chances- can be total of 20)
7th 10 pts ( you have 3 chances - can be total of 15)1
Just say the position they will draft (i.e. 7th WR) 3 pts.
Ted Ginn trade reveal something?
Everybody is saying how we just lost a great kick returner. Well, this might be a clue for who we take at #12....
CJ Spiller anyone???? Here are his stats:
Steals in the draft- Offense
Just some players I like who I think the Dolphins could get in later rounds for a good deal.
Mike Szczur- RB/KR/WR Mike Szczur Vs. Montana in Champ. Game
Mike is from the Villanova Wildcats and is a multi-threat to the other team. He has great speed, agility, great route running, and can catch. Reminds me somewhat of Wes Welker, since he has great speed and can run after the catch, but can also help in the wildcat.
Dennis Pitta- TE Mike Pitta Highlights
Dennis has the probably the best hands in the draft for a tight end. he goes for the ball, doesn't give up on the play, and isn't afraid o lower his shoulder and knock someone over. Has some pretty good speed for someone his size and looks like a mismatch for defenses and a 3rd down threat that can move the chains.
LeGarrette Blount- RB LeGarrette Blount Highlights
LeGarrette is a power back and flat out run. Has good ball carrier vision and once he sees he gap, he shoots right for it. Now since we have such a strict group of coaches and Bill Parcells, I think they will keep him in check and teach him some work ethic and discipline.
Who do you guys think we can steal later in the draft for offense?
