Point Guard Thoughts:
While watching NBA coverage part of me feels that Greg Anthony could lace em' up and still be an upgrade for us.... Just saying. Speaking of the "good ol days" Let's play a round of where are they now? (Blazers Edition)
Isaiah Rider?
Vladimir Stepania?
Tracy Murray?
Rumeal Robinson?
Don't know why, but I have an obsession with former Blazers that may not have been greatly popular, or even good for that matter. I just sit and wonder where they are now? It's bad, now since typing Tracy Murray all I can think about is that wicked flat top he rocked. lol...... I need help.
Trade Talk:
After 24 hours to think about all the trade conversation swirling mostly around Channing, Sergio and possibly the Baylessourus, I came away wondering what the "big picture" looks like? The David Lee trade talk makes some sense to me because it frees up mins. for someone at the 1, hopefully Bayless, rather than Sergio. I know I'll probably get flamed for that, but Trading Bayless at this point is a waste. He has not shown what he can do with serious rotation mins. And time w/ mixed up units while B-Roy is out doesnt count to me. We need to let him get comfortable and understand he can make some mistakes now, to better prepare him for a time 2-3 seasons from now when our actual "Championship Window" is open. Don't be so concerned with winning now, and getting an 8 seed. Wow, are we good enough to beat the Lakers yet? No, not in a playoff series. So who cares if we sneak in with an 8th seed. We need to let guys like Bayless, Nic and even Rudy get more time to go thru the "growing pains". I believe that its better to make mistakes and learn now, rather than later when we are a serious contender.
Secondly, here is the question that I lose sleep over. " What will happen when Martell is healthy?"
Is Batum going to come off the bench?
Will Troutlaw still be the 6th man? If so, where are Nic's Mins.? Seriously, We are looking at a log jam at the 3, and none of them can play the 2 or the 4. In my opinion this will be tough to answer. So I pose this question as I conclude.
"What is better, Long and young w/ D or Dribble Dribble Shoot? I think people know who I'm refering to.
Thanks for letting me vent....

Attention Rudy fans!
Just wanted to let everyone know that the new " I Heart Rudy" Shirts are going to be back in stock at (GI) Joe's everywhere as of today. The first shipment sold out very quickly since they were dirt cheap (under $10). I called all locations last week and found out that we should be seeing the second wave as of today.
Also, friendly reminder to go to NBA.Com/dunk to vote for Rudy to be the fourth member of the Allstar Dunk Contest. While your doing that we should also throw some votes towards B. Roy and Co. for the actual game....
Thanks for the time,

Rudy, Dunk Contest:
I dont know if this has been brought up yet, but everyone needs to vote for Rudy as the fourth member of the Slam Dunk Contest. You can vote on NBA.COM
He's up against Joe Alexander and Russell Westbrook, This should be a lock! Can you imagine a match up of Dwight Howard vs Rudy in the finals, and the tv crew cutting back to the Olympic dunk rudy had over Howard.... This could be a huge boost to Portland's media coverage.
C'mon blazer fans show some love!
