I never played football at Iowa, but I did get a lot of free drinks while I was there because people thought I was Drew Tate...

Bowl Practices
Does anyone know what time Iowa holds their bowl practices at Chaparral High? I would like to be able to meet some of the players after practice is over since I know that the practices themselves are closed to the public.
I need to get to 75 words so blah blah blah blah blah blah blah go hawks blah blah blah blah go hawks blah blah blah blah go hawks blah blah blah blah blah go hawks
University of Iowa T-shirt Design Challenge
Hawkeye fans -
My brother has entered a University of Iowa t-shirt design challenge on threadless.com. There are a lot of great Hawkeye designs entered, so it's worth checking out.
http://atrium.threadless.com/iowa/subs/#/submission/birds-of-prey-2/
You can vote for your favorite design, but I would recommend my brother's entry, "Birds of Prey." (obviously, since he is my brother, it is the best design there!)
You do have to register in order to vote, but it takes less than 30 seconds to do, and they won't spam you or anything as long as you don't check the box.
Thanks for voting, and Go Hawks!!!
Donahue Greatest Punter In History of World
Well, maybe not quite yet. But he is one of ten semifinalists for the Ray Guy Award, given to the best college punter.
His best stat? 16 punts downed inside the 20 yard line.
Indy to Host First Big 10 Championship Game
Indianapolis has been selected to host the Big 10 Championship game in 2011.
Part of the reason for choosing Indy is the fact that they have hosted the men's and women's Big 10 basketball tournaments. Also, Indy will be hosting the Super Bowl in 2012, shortly after the Big 10 Championship game will be played.
More LOLpher Trouble
I realize this has nothing to do with Iowa, other than the fact that we love the trainwreck in Minnesota...
FIGHT TRY HARD WIN Brewster has suspended starting safety Kyle Theret indefinitely for violating team rules. Nothing of major importance to note other than that Theret started all 13 games last year, and led the team with 3 INT's.
That is all. You may now go back to work.
Clayborn to Plead Guilty In Assault Case
ESPN's Adam Rittenberg is reporting that Clayborn will enter a guilty plea in the assault case stemming from the January 2009 incident with the Iowa City cab driver.
Does this mean that Ferentz will suspend Clayborn for 1-2 games next year?
Help on the way for Iowa B-Ball Team
Iowa basketball can use all the help it can get at this point. Incoming Iowa tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz may provide some assistance...

Bulaga a Top 10 Pick?
In his latest version of the first round of the NFL draft, Todd McShay has Bryan Bulaga going 6th overall to the Seattle Seahawks, as a replacement for Walter Jones.
If this is the case, it would be the first top 10 draft pick to come out of Iowa since Gallery.
Jeremiah Masoli a Thief?
It looks like the Oregon football program may be in some trouble. Garrett Embry and Jeremiah Masoli (yes, THAT Jeremiah Masoli, 2010 Heisman candidate) have been accused of stealing a projector screen and two MacBook Pro laptops from a campus frat house.
Since this is not Masoli's first run-in with the law (he pled guilty to a series of robberies in California), what does this mean for Oregon's chances to repeat as Pac 10 champions?
If he is indeed guilty, does Chip Kelly actually kick him off the team, or does he punish him ala LeGarrette Blount and "suspend him for the season" and then let him play after a few games?
