When I came over to this country, I was a pretty applied student. I went to the 8th grade without knowing any english, and still got mostly A's. Which says a lot about the quality of the education here, or maybe I'm just a genius.

Then I discovered the idea of "minimum effort". As in, doing what you have to do to just pass, and then fuck it. For me, that entailed not doing any homework but doing well in test so I could pass the class.

The PTR crowd is fairly well educated. So to all the slackers underachievers like me, this is your thread. Insightful comments? Fuck it. Funny jokes that are smart? Fuck it.

This is the minimum required effort thread, time to bring your C game!

Because Scalibrine wearing that headband looks like the sort of guy you invite to play some pick up basketball, and he takes it all serious and starts calling charges, traveling and 3 second violations.

We all have ideas of what other PTR members look like. For me those ideas depend on people's avatar, so ATS looks like a grumpy but wise old Pop to me, SiMA like a smartass smirking Manu, and SinCitySpur like a sex crazed Quagmire. Maybe you all have your own ideas, thinking all the girls are hot, or all the guys handsome.

Well, it's time to destroy some illusions. Let's put some pics of what we really look like and don't worry, no matter how we look on the outside, we're all ugly on the inside:

As some of you already know, a couple of weeks ago my signficant other came from the hellhole that is Chicago to sunny Southern California to visit yours truly. We did some sightseeing, among other stuff...And we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific, as we're both nerdy fishkeepers. Here's some pics I took at the aquarium, hope the unwashed masses likes them. Also, don't expect any scientific names, I know about saltwater fish about as much as I know about basketball.

I know, this is a bird, not a fish. In one part of the aquarium they have a bird exhibit. You can buy some sort of overpriced extremely super duper special nectar at the entrance, and when you go inside the bird go crazy for it and land on your hand. This is a bird on my girl's hand. (Yeah, eventually they did poop on her)
