Went to Arco Arena on Monday to see them remove the letters on the building and shot interesting video in the process.
You probably didn't know that Cake's Arco Arena had a vocal version, did you?

Workers begin removing Arco Arena signage. I'll post a video about this later.

Free Kings Warriors Preseason Tickets
Warriors are giving away free tickets to Sunday's Kings game at Oracle to anyone who likes their team on Facebook.
If you don't want to do that, the password is simply facebook. There's a $0.75 convenience fee per ticket, but it's pretty close to going for free...
Boise State comes back to win against Virginia Tech, FOR AMERICA!
When I went to the A's Yankees game last Tuesday I saw this sign prominently displayed in the right field bleachers. This was the first A's game I attended in the 2010 season, has the fanbase been this public about the ownership?
Great Win by Ross Wolf, very beastly out there.

2009 Dodgers Ticket Prices
Hello Dodgertown, hope you've managed to stay warm around the Hot Stove (easier said than done in LA) this offseason. I was working on a little project that will compare ticket prices in professional sports around California and noticed the Dodgers haven't put up the 2010 individual ticket prices and taken down the 2009 prices. Does anyone here have a pocket schedule from 2009 that has the ticket prices?
Thanks for any help, and best of luck with the owners getting divorced, it sure didn't help the Padres.
Going to the Big A
I am going to be driving down to So Cal to take my sister to UCLA to tour the campus during the weekend of Aug 8 while the Yanks are in town. While I am down there, I would like to enrich my California Baseball experience and take in a game from Angel Stadium.
Labor Day Weekend Headache
I've got tickets to Friday night's game against the Orioles and was wondering the best transporation possibilities.
I normally drive to Oakland from the Sacramento Area and park the car in the BART lot at the Coliseum/Airport station.
Now I know that I don't have to travel to San Francisco, thus avoiding the EB closure this weekend, but will there still be some extra congestion on the freeways around the Bay Bridge in the always congested Emeryville intersection?
An option would be to drive to the El Cerrito Plaza BART Station or in Concord, but with Fireworks after the game, do they close the ramp after the fireworks show? I know they close it after the 8th inning and during the show.
What is the best way to get in and out of the area effectively? BART or Drive through
