I became an Ottawa Senators fan the day the announcement was made we had a team. I was a daily email participant with Team 1200 up until last year when they refused to address officiating. You see I bought into Bettman's plan to speed up the game and have higher scoring. Unfortunately the economic reality of the league brought the old demons back. Allowing weaker teams to compete through one sided officiating. I literally watched 68 playoff games this year and saw all too clearly the trend re-emerge. Especially the Montreal-Pittsburgh and Montreal-Washington series. I do news and game by game videos on youtube about officiating and other stories, the channel name is hockeyplayoffrun
