Spurred on by TiH's call to lash back at The Basketball Jones and their slander of Blazermania in a recent broadcast, I attacked directly and received the following kind response, with hugest kudos to BE:

Where do you get off threatening the Kingdom of Canader? I was right about you Blazer fans. You're all nuts in the noggin'! Solid email. I just put a cover over my car. It's amazing to see how many comments Blazer fans leave on BlazersEdge ... The passion! Hey, even us homers gave Chuck Swirsky (the broadcaster with the Bargs vote), the Wanker of the Week. Anyway, appreciate the hilarious E, Tas

BLAZERS JUMP ON HEAT LIKE THEY JUMPED ON BULLS
On Wednesday, November 19, the Trail Blazers outscored the Bulls, 34-13, in the first quarter en route to an easy 116-74 win. On Wednesday, November 26, the Trail Blazers outscored the Heat, 37-17, in the first quarter en route to an easy 106-68 win. Coincidence? We think not.

But in any event, Portland had not outscored an opposing team by 20-or-more points in the first quarter in any of 450 games between doing it on Feb. 19, 2003 and then on Nov. 19, 2008. Now it has happened twice within a five-game span, over eight days

Ducks of the Carolinas...

looked great today. Stewart against a tough SD run defense gained 5.3 a carry. And our H-Back of yesteryear Dante Rosario was amazing throughout: leading receiver for the Panthers and the spectacular grab on the last play for the win. Thanks to both for representing! Olshansky had a nice game, too.

Someone post the video of Dante's catch: a fantastic finish for him. And JStew has pro skills - only 10 carries today but he played just as well if not better than DeAngelo Williams
