I was just wondering how the rest of yall felt about other Texas "fans" who have real crappy attitudes and are un classy. I like to pride myself as being respectful to other fans of other teams and the other teams in general. I recently on twitter came across a fellow Texas "fan" who frankly is an embarrasment in my opinion. The guy makes ridiculous tweets. Saying stuff from Taylor Jungmann is garbage and should be starting since he cant win in the regionals and CWS, which is one of the dumbest things ive ever heard. Yea he struggled but he has been brillant at Texas. Anyways the main thing that really ticked me off was the latest tweet. it said to the tune of " F*** South Carolina and every other division one school and division 2 and all of junior college except for my beloved Longhorns" I mean come on that just not only makes you sound arrogant and not intelligent but also just is a sad way to rep the Longhorns. Yes this stuff happens with fans at other schools too but it really pissed me off just reading that. How do yall feel about stupid stuff like that?

For all of you who are baseball fans, I thought id post this incase yall havent heard yet. Brandon Belt has made the Giants 25 man roster and will be the everyday starting first baseman! Im so excited about this since I have been a Longhorn fan all my life and also a Giants fan since 96'. I know a lot of yall enjoyed watching Brandon play for the Horns as much as I did. So lets all tip our hats to Belt and wish him the best as he begins his Major League Career tomorrow night against the Dodgers. How ironic that Kershaw is starting for the Dodgers and Belt faced him back in high school. Heres the article if interested.

Im a big fan of the baseball team and I am wondering if anyone knows where it will be available to watch either on the stream online or by radio. From the info I have found on texassports.com it seems you have to pay for the online radio broadcast and the stream. Does anyone know maybe where else for free it will be on the radio? Seems that 1300 is charging for it online. Kinda frustrated cause I really wanna be able to catch the game and not just watch the stat tracker thing.

Ive been hearing a lot of chatter about Bryan Harsin heading back to coach Boise if Petersen leaves for the Stanford job. How real could this be should Petersen take the Stanford job? I think it could be highly possible to be honest. As most of you know Harsin went to high school in Boise and is an Alum at BSU. So I think if he had the chance to be the head coach at Boise he would most likely take it. It would really suck if he went back to coach Boise right after he takes the co coordinator job here at Texas. Im not trying to jump the gun on this and it would be an interesting situation, but I just wanted to get some feedback from yall.

Saw a rumor today that mentions Greg Davis is involved at Clemson. I wonder if the Clemson fans noticed our offense this year? Clemson was 87th in total offense this year. Just thought it was interesting when I came across that rumor. On a side note I really hope we get Chyrst and the Wisconsin OL coach. It would be awesome to see our Horns pound the ball down peoples throats and give GG some help offensively.

Wel looks like another coach is leaving the Texas staff. Bobby Kennedy is now reported by the boulder news to have accepted an invitation to join the staff in Colorado. So if this is a certain thing which it has been rumored for a a couple weeks anyways. We are now out of almost everyone it seems. I know a lot of you are like me and would like to hear some sort of positive news for the Horns football program going forward. But now there are so many coaches to replace. Deffensive Cordinator, Offensive Corddinator,OL coach,special teams,DL,LB's and now WR's,  I hope this is all the news for losing staff cause its getting ridiculous in my opinion. Sorry for the ramble,just a bit frustrated.

Reading this on footballrumormill lastnight and was wondering if anyone else has heard anymore about this. Appearently he is in serious discusions with Texas about the DC job. However it says he has not yet accepted the job, so basically whoever is reporting this seems to think he was offered the job. I didnt see many Tenessee games this year but I looked at some of their deffense stats. They were 70th in the country in total deffense and 55th in scoring deffense allowing roughly 24 points a game. Texas obviously was better in those catogories even though not much better in scoring deffense. Just wanted to see what all yall thought about this or if there is any reason to take this rumor seriously.

Probably a dumb question but ive been looking for a authentic Texas jersey and not exactly sure where to look. Ive checked the store at the staduim cause in the past they have sold game used jerseys from the previous season but right now they dont have any and they said they dont think they will get any untill the season is over. So im looking to buy a new authentic one. Can anyone suggest a place where I can find one? I dont trust ebay cause what ive seen on there when ive searched are not even close to the real thing. Im shooting for authentic with the tackle twill numbers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 

I know this is way early but some Nebraskas fans who im friends with keep rubbing it in about how great Martinez is and how they want us to be undefeated when we go to Lincoln and they "ROLL" us. I know they have a good team and I know Martinez has been running all over the place. But I have a couple of questions. First is- Can this kid hold up? Taylor Martinez is 6-1 205. Can his body hold up to getting hit when he starts facing some better deffenses that will get to him and hit him when he tries to run. My other question is - How will our deffense respond to this guy? I honestly cant see Martinez running it all over us like he has to the sub par deffenses he has faced. I think we have the speed and talent to keep him contained and make this guy throw the ball. From all ive seen and heard he is not a great passer at all. I just want some other fans take on this. Again I know its really early but as I said Im just getting tired of hearing about how great he is and how Bo Pelini is the "best" coach in the BIG 12.

Just read the great article involving Colt and his dad. Has anyone else read this article. It really is a great article talking about Colt and also about the state of Texas and the excellent QB's this great state turns out every year. Pretty amazing how many Texans are starting at major Colleges. Anyways I recommend picking up the new Texas Monthly and reading the article. Its pretty lengthy as well and a good read.

Hey guys I keep seeing tons of negativity in posts about the two games Texas has played. Worrying about so many things and being critical. Look we have a different team this year and Gilbert in his first starting year. So many people are so quick to judge and panic. We need to have realistic goals for this season and realize that this team is growing and is gonna find their own idenity  with some of the best Texas leaders and go to guys gone to the NFL. Have some faith and some good support to the Horns! We all love our team and have passion and pride. When people think why is this guy doing this or why did they do that, Just keep in mind that we arent coaches and we arent at practice everyday to see what the coaches see! Obviously people playing and play calling made is for whats best for the team to win. Yes sometimes there are some questionable calls like that toss sweep with Cody in the Rice game but maybe GD saw something and figured Rice would look for another run up the middle. Either way we should all be supportive and lets have a great season and support our guys out there!   Hook' Em

Just curious to see what people's thoughts on TCU are. I think they have some outstanding young runningbacks and im my opinion they were the most physical team on both sides of the ball that I watched play this weekend. I was impressed with how they played and the numbers they put up. They held Oregon State to 72 rushing yards I believe, and people thought they wouldnt be able to stop the running game of Oregon State.

Saw this on the news in Austin tonight. Browns say McCoy hasnt shown much improvement and the last couple of preseason games will decide if he makes the team or not according to the head coach. Anyone have any info on this? I saw the game against ST Louis and the 2 series he was in he had no protection and Davis dropped the screen pass. Very dissapointed when I saw this tonight on the news
