From the LAT Sunday Obits. She sounds like she was a great lady!

Hey, you get to my age, you start reading the obits just be be sure your name isn't in there :)

Virginia Weisman Diener

DIENER, Virginia Weisman Weisman Scharman Born in Chicago, Illinois on August 22, 1922, passed away on April 3, 2008. Virginia, aka Dinny, to all of us who knew and loved her will be remembered for her warm and welcoming manner and, above all, her relentless championing of UCLA basketball and football. Coaches Howland and Neuheisel - you'd better always bring your "A" game, because Dinny will always be watching and yelling and cheering mightily.

A family memorial service will be private.

Donations may be made in Dinny's memory to the Los Angeles Zoo and the UCLA Fund. Go Bruins!

Opinions wanted...

I just wanted to poll the group on here to see what your feelings are about the Bruins not having an open practice on what is traditionally Midnight Madness throughout the nation.

Coach Howland can never do anything wrong in my book, but in this case, I do think the students deserve to be a part of this college tradition.

We're having one once again here at Pepperdine, by the way.

Go Bruins!
