Became Angel fan in 1971 at the age of 12. This was the year of Alex Johnson's fall from grace and becoming a full-fledged clubhouse cancer, watching Tony Conigliaro start having eyesight issues stemming from his 1967 beaning by the Angels Jack Hamilton back when he was with the Red Sox, and watching the last season of Jim Fregosi (who I chose as my favorite Angel, who after the season was traded for my next favorite Angel, Nolan Ryan). I got used to rooting for a mediocre team which they would have many seasons under that description.

But all the years of disappointment made it even sweeter during that magical season of 2002.

They may still cause me to pull my hair out at times, but I will never give up on them and will live and die an Angel fan.

Married with two sons, 17 and 21, living in Westminster.

"I was pretty confident I was going to get the next hitter out. Scioscia didn't have that same confidence."
