Half way through the season and I can't help but ask myself and the rest of the orange faithful if this team would be better off with Colt managing the game instead of trying force plays and put up huge numbers.  Based on the play so far from this team (specifically the defense) it seems like we would be well-suited to play more ball control and take less risks on offense.  The turnovers by Colt have been killing us.  Wouldn't this team be better with a more balanced offense that plays a little more field position and relies on its defense to make plays- instead of constantly bailing out the offense?

Interesting article about his decision making process.  Apparently, he didn't like the idea of having Major as his running back's coach.  Underneath it sounds like family pressure ultimately won out.  Look forward to punishing him on the field and its time to move with the guys we have, but it's a good read for closure.
