HUMM BABY 4 HAITI TO HELP AID RECOVERY EFFORTS
Non-profit organization announces launch

March 2, 2010 -- In an endeavor to boost the worldwide relief effort for earthquake victims in Haiti, a new non-profit organization Humm Baby 4 Haiti, has been launched, along with its accompanying Web site www.hummbaby4haiti.org.

Humm Baby 4 Haiti, along with its partner organization, Partners in Health, allows people to donate online and directly support the recovery efforts in Haiti. Humm Baby 4 Haiti is planning a relief trip to the island nation later this year.

Founder Salvador Serrano, a San Francisco native and UC Davis graduate, launched this non-profit organization after being deeply affected by the devastation caused by the massive quake that struck Haiti in January. With vivid memories of the destruction from the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake in the Bay Area, Serrano formed Humm Baby 4 Haiti to encourage Northern Californians and baseball fans to bolster the relief efforts.
