NFL News: TJ Houshmandzadeh
As per ESPN Radio, The Herd, TJ Houshmandzadeh has signed with the Baltimore Raves.
This signing comes as a surprise, but no one can deny the instant improvement TJ will
surely have.
The Ravens WR corpes now boasting Derrick Mason, Anquan Boldin, and now TJ Houshmandzadeh,
should be an interesting mix, and should instantly put them in to the conversation for best
WR corpes in the league.
While this is good news for the ravens I am sure this is bad news for all fantasy owners with Mason on their bench, or Boldin in their starting line-up, well STOP CRYING its just fantasy football.
- IAG
UPDATE: As the deal sweetens for the Ravens, it is reported that TJ signed for one year at the league vet minimum.
Episode 6.5: Big Boy Responsibilites
It is with GREAT disappointment that I inform you the Pride of Detroit Update will be on hiatus until September 5th. On that day, a week before the Lions' first regular season I will return to you all with a new update, with PLENTY of news, analysis, and entertainment. I hope you all enjoyed this short six week vignette, because I enjoyed making it.
If things were different I would be doing this every single week , hell I would do it every single day. But as things stand now, I have a new job with a media company in a time where jobs, let alone dream ones, are few and far between. Also I have only a few weeks left before the ball-and-chain heads back up to school and my Alma-Mater and these next few weekends will be reserved for her.
I will still be around the boards posting snarky comments and it will be September before we know it.
This Is Your Pride of Detroit Update, and What No,

Reggie Torbor, Dolphin No More
Dolphins linebacker Reggie Torbor was released earlier today, which many analysts are attributing to his high salary and "crowded" position in Miami.
It seems that after signing Dansby to the team the Dolphins were willing to let go of the seasoned veteran.
The 6' 2" Linebacker still has some seasons left in him. Torbor has remained relatively healthy for his entire career and at 250+ lbs would fit a defensive scheme similar to the Detroit Lions.
With a defensive backfield that is headlined by Peterson at the linebacker position the Lions may want to consider bringing in another powerful veteran that is a capable tackler with a decent head on his shoulders.
Great Lions Fan, Or Greatest Lion Fan
Keeping with the light-hearted feel of the board this monday, I would like to poll my POD brethren as to who is the best fictional Detroit Lions Fan.
Axel Foley

Foley is a Detroit native and small-time juvenile hoodlum who fictionally attended the Mumford High School. After a few years in which he was unemployed, Foley joined the Detroit Police Department in 1983. A talented policeman, Axel is also known to bend the rules, which annoys his boss, Inspector Todd, who was killed in a shoot-out in 1994. Foley is an only child with no close relatives except his parents.
OR
Tim "The Toolman" Taylor
A hot rod enthusiast, Tim is knowledgeable on all things related to cars, and is fond of listing the different parts inside a particular car that catches his attention. Tim is also obsessed with building things. This is usually followed by his trademark grunting. He is also somewhat obsessed with modifying machines and household appliances for "more power" (a favorite catchphrase of his), because he likes doing things the "man's way". Most of the time, the rewired machines will backfire and cause some kind of accident. Nevertheless, he tries to pass these qualities to his sons. It has been shown on some occasions, most notably at the end of the episode 'Ye Olde Shoppe Teacher', that if Tim pays attention and follows instructions without trying to give things more power, he can be an effective craftsman. He is also a big fan of the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons and Detroit Red Wings.
Who is the greatest lions fan, and why?
Am I Missing Someone, let me know.

Favre-less NFC NORTH
Reports are coming in this morning that Brett Favre will have to undergo ankle surgery to return, once again, to the sport he loves.
The 40-year-old quarterback made a statement this morning in an email to ESPN that "this decision would be easy (retirement) if not for my teammates, fans, and entire vikings staff..." The left ankle injury, suffered during the NFC title game, is still bothering Favre and regularly swelling up as Favre attempts to make yet another return to footfall.
Favre has not given any details on the surgery necessary, the timetable of recovery if he were to undergo surgery, and how invasive the surgery would be, arthroscopic or otherwise.
To me this sounds like Favre's REAL swan-song. It seems to me that Brett is saying all the things he needs to say to prevent a backlash from the Viking's organization. Can this be a minor complication and Favre is just stirring the pot, sure. But to me, I think the division got a little more interesting this season.
As pieces continue to fall into place and our cards start to play out the NFC north becomes even more competitive.
Reporting for Pride of Detroit News, I am Gross, and you are informed.
Draft 2010: The point at which the draft went weird
Sorry I wasn't on last night fellas, I was at my boys house and he is to fucking cheap for wifi, not the point. I wanted to point out something that I didnt know if it was apparent last night, or maybe I was to critical, but did anyone notice that at pick 7 the draft went weird, so here is my little vignette.
"With the 7th pick...Joe Haden"
WOW! me and my friends screamed, "Reach!" was heard screaming through the room, "Really?" was also a common outburst, but eventually it settled and the room seemed to come a consensus, that if holgrem wants a guy, he is going to get one.
Than it was the Raiders. we knew things would get wacky, the jokes of Bruce Cambell came in, Earl Thomas was screamed from the back, and I believe someone who had a beer too many screamed Mark Sanchez. The room quieted to an anxious still, the pick was in.
"With the 8th pick...Rolando McClain"
I will not try to completely capture the reaction but will represent it with the following: PAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
After we settled we were sure on one thing, well its the Raiders It can not get any weirder than this.
The Buffalo Bills are on the clock, for those of you that may know, I go to school in western New York, Bills Country. While the room did not go silent, there was not many words being said at the time, just silent prayers and hopes for clausen, or tebow, or bulaga, or...well any player that would help fill any of the glaring holes left on the Bills roster.
"With the 9th pick...CJ Spiller"
While they did not say this at at the same time the consensus in the room seemed to be "Oh my fucking God" with mouths agape, and their souls leaving their bodies, texts went flying across the western new york area with rage and anger typed and screamed across statuses galore, and rightfully so, RB was the one sure spot on the Bills roster. BUT SURELY, the weirdness, or unpredictability, was over.
It was at this point things took a turn for the worse. In a room full of Bills friends myself, a lions fan, and one of my best friends, a jaguars fan, settled down to talk, predict, and get ready for the Jaguars selection. We were excited as plenty of o-lineman were on the board, dan williams, I wont even bother naming all of the possibilities he was excited about, because this excitement was shortly interrupted. The pick was in.
"With the 10th pick...Tyson Alualu"
It was at this time a peculiar thing happened, the once morose Bills fans ERUPTED in laughter over the incredible reach they had just witnessed, and my best friend, MY BEST FRIEND, died of shock...seriously, rest in peace...okay maybe not but the picture I took on my phone was fucking priceless.
The weirdness continued for the rest of the night, with the unexplained anthony davis trade up, and dont even get me started on tim tebow.
I just figured I would share the fun, and weirdness.
LATER
2010 - 2011 Qualitative Evaluation
In this post I wish to use a qualitative approach to deliver what I predict to be the Lions 2010 - 11 season record.
I acknowledge the shortcomings of using this process before the draft, minicamp, rookie camp, training camp and preseason, but as an experiment for myself I would like to see how accurate I can be.
For the parameters of this evaluation I will use a quality point system from .00 to 1 discerning a "likeliness" of success(Success for this parameter is defined through a "win"). Compiling the quality points throughout the entire season should will provide a net total of quality points, the mean of which will provide a quality score defining success for the season (Success under this category will be defined through Perfection 1 or Defeat 0). I will correlate this score with the overall winning percentage and provide my prediction for the W - L record of the upcoming season. I will provide a short synopsis to provide an aid, but these my full thoughts are not represented to explain my logic, because than the post would be 10 pages long.
Week 1 - Chicago Bears (A)
The Bears, whom will be unable to upgrade through the draft, have a one-sided attack of ST/Defense, unfortunately it will not be of the same caliber of the Rex Grossman Era, the Lions have an opportunity to sweep these new basement dwellers.
Quality Points .85
Week 2 - Eagles (H)
While favorites to win the game Kevin Kolb remains unproven. Sims comes back to motown, tensions run high. The eagles have the competitive edge, but lack the defense to completely shut down Detroit's offense.
Quality Points .42
Week 3 - Minnesota Viking (A)
I have a gut feeling that Detroit will split games with Minnesota, but the threat of a returning Bret Favre, and the dominance of a solid Vikings defense makes it difficult to split quality points, due to the competitive edge of the Vikes.
Quality Points .35
Week 4 - Green Bay Packers (H)
Lack of defensive upgrades to the teams secondary during the off season will result in opponents being able to pass against the pressure heavy pack. I AM confident the Lions will split and will display it in the quality points
Quality Points .5
Week 5 - St. Louis Rams (H)
The struggling Rams do not have a quarterback, especially in the off chance they don't draft Bradford. Even if they do, he will struggle in his inaugural season in a professional offense.
Quality Points .9
Week 6 - New York Giants (A)
Are on a down slope from their super bowl victory, the edge is marginal. Do not feel like writing too much. (Will discuss more if commented upon)
Quality Points .45
Week 7 - Bye
Week 8 - Washington Redskins (H)
Even with Shanny there, and the acquisition of McNabb, there has not been significant improvement to suggest that the Redskins are any improvement from last year. Must take these additions into account though, a coin flip in my mind.
Quality Points .5
Week 9 - New York Jets (H)
Assumed still the best defense in the league I am tempted to speculate that while stafford might have the better stats, he probably will not get the W.
Quality Points .19
Week 10 - Buffalo Bills (A)
Their head coach is a loser, yes I am talking about the new one. Their defensive line is a remnant of three years ago, and they still don't have an offense, welcome to the basement, again, buffalo.
Quality Points .75
Week 11 - Dallas Cowboys (A)
We always play the Cowboys close. COIN FLIP
Quality Points .50
Week 12 - Turkey Day Pats Day (H)
While our historical record against the patriots is good, we are facing brady, inside, with the ability to pick any secondary apart, a recently rebuilt d-line and young secondary, shouldnt pose much of a difficulty. We hang in there, ultimately we get edged out.
Quality Points .38
Week 13 - Chicago Bears (H)
See Above
Quality Points .85
Week 14 - Green Bay Packers (H)
See Above
Quality Points .5
Week 15 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers (A)
A trip to the warm weather stadium will prove successful for a lions with an upgraded offense, while the teams have similar defenses the offense-anemic bucs will lose the edge.
Quality Points .70
Week 16 - Miami Dolphins (A)
I am simply basing this on the effectiveness of the Dolphins last year and their ability to stay in games. I can not project the direction of the team as of yet but will assume they have a similar competitive edge to the comparable AFC east teams.
Quality Points .40
Week 17 - Minnesota Vikings (H)
See Above
Quality Points .35
Total Quality Points - 8.59
Mean Quality Points - .536
Projected Correlation: 8 wins - 8 losses
While this projection proves only that I might be on the "kool-aid" I tried to be as objective as possible in this highly qualitative evaluation.
Hope you enjoyed.
I would like to see you guys come up with your own numbers so we could compare as well.
That would be neat.

Possible D-Tackle For Consideration: Albert
Suh?
McCoy?
Hargrove?
No.
Haynesworth.
On Nfl.com Jay La Canfora is reporting that before the Eagles and Redskins agreed to terms for Donovan McNabb, the Redskins had offered Albert Haynesworth. Based on speculation, the Redskins value Haynesworth at a 2 - 3 round pick. If this is the case I would like to see the Lions make a move at Haynesworth.
The Downside to this deal would be the size of Haynesworth's contract (21 mil this year) but the potential upside would drastically change the Lions defensive front. Reuniting Haynesworth and Van den Bosch would be drool-worthy, and be something to really hang our hat on.
I know this is a difficult deal, especially since we would want to restructure that contract, but a boy can dream.
IAGNN: Players (Updated)
An interesting point was brought up on a thread earlier today. How much does player insight influence coaching decisions? Now, with Matthew Stafford it clearly aided in the process of picking up Nate Burlson, will it be the case for somehow drafting Dez Bryant? Who knows.
I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Zack Follett. During our interview I asked:
Who would like to see in a lions uniform after the draft? A previous teammate?
He Answered
"I would really like to see us pick up Jahvid Best, you know he is a previous teammate of mine, and I like the way he plays. He is a fast and smart runner, and I would really like to have him on the team."
Zack actually spoke very highly of Best going on for a while about his abilities and work ethic, unfortunately, due to technical error I was unable to get ALL OF IT, but if you would like to see the rest of what Zack and I talked about, please visit The Athletic Report
Please note, I initially was not going to post this because I know the policy on advertising other sites, but thus far mine sucks and wont take away any traffic, and I am only doing it because I know you guys will appreciate it.
Zack must be reading the site, he just tweeted ZakarianFollett would def take javid i the 2nd if we have the chance.. fastest player iv seen on a football field.. deshawn jackson couldnt see him
IAGNN: Dumb & Dumber Updated...kinda
I got my hands on some QB Wonderlic scores, thought I might share some of the more startling results.
(Out of a total 50 pts, in a 12 min exam)
Tim Tebow: 22
Jimmy Clausen: 23
Colt McCoy: 25
Sam Bradford: 36
Bradford scored well with in the context of the wonderlic, similar to Stafford, whom last year scored a 38.
Other notable scores from last year (sanchez 28, freeman 28)
Now the Wonderlic does not always translate performance, but I thought the scores were surprising.
As Per League Source.

IAGNN Rumor Mill: Beast Mode
Rumor Is, Marshawn Lynch, 2007 12th overall pick, is available for a fourth round pick. Marshawn is power back from Cal, capable of being a workhouse in a single back system. The fourth year player had a strong Rookie, and second year, season rushing for over One-thousand Yards.
His most reason season he was suspended from all preseason games and the first three games of the regular season. With the lack of reps, the emergence of Freddy Jackson, and Lynch splitting carries, he never got into rhythm.
That being said, with Jones off the market, I think a fourth is a good deal for this guy. We get a strong young player who NEVER goes down on first contact, and we do not gamble our pick on a second or third round back. So lets see it Mayhew, Pull the Trigger.

Tonight Is Christmas For Me
So I would like to extend an invitation to you all to come on to the boards, after midnight, and lets see if there is any immediate news coming out of the lions camp. I will be a few ice creams deep by this point in the night and would love to go crazy over some rumors and speculations.

IAGNN: Combine Notes
Update, interesting development.
Jahvid best ran the fastest official time of 4.35 of all of the running backs, including Spiller's whose official time was 4.37 still fast, but weird that the numbers are still disparaging.
Notes from the RB Class of RBs that have generated some buzz on the boards
- CJ Spiller
My analysis: He is Fast, and quick, (he ran a 4.28 first trial, waiting on second will update) looks in great shape, put up 19 reps at 225, which shows good strength for a back of his size.
- Dexter McCluster
My analysis: Very impressive for his size, put up 20 reps on the bench, shows great strength, is quick more than he is fast. Very fluid 40, but the time was slower than what i anticipated. (4.55)
- LaGarrette Blount
My Analysis: Seems to be hurting his draft stock at the combine, I realize he is a power back, be he looked slow. (40 time high 4.6 unofficial 4.7 in the second trial)
I am unable to find his bench press which leads me to believe he did not participate, which is beyond me. If he did they either have not posted it, or he put up a sub-15.
Waiting on Spiller's second 40, will keep people updated. (4.27)
Let me know what to look for if you cant watch the combine, and I will do my best to keep this updated.
IAG
IAGNN: CJ Spiller
As many of you know, quite well perhaps, I am an advocate for the Lions picking up CJ Spiller. How we get him is of no concern of me I would just love to see him on our roster. Please note, I am aware we have more pressing needs than running back, but it is my seldom opinion that CJ Spiller will be a premier back, a game changing back, in the league, no matter what team he is on.
This Video is evidence of the college career I watched and the unbelievable speed and skill he brings to the game, please watch the whole thing, if you would like to see where I am coming from.
Now I have heard people compare him to the "Poor Man's Reggie Bush" or claim that he is not RB#1 material, and that we already have Aaron Brown, but I would like to provide some stats and comparisons to hopefully sway your opinion. And maybe you too will join me on the CJ Spiller Band Wagon.
CJ Spiller
Height 5-11
Weight 195lbs
Speed 4.26 40yd dash
College Career Stats
Attempts - 606
Yards - 3547
TD - 32
And now for the sake of my argument I would like to compare him to a similar back already in the league who I will reveal after the stats.
Unknown
Height 5-11
Weight 198lbs
Speed 4.24 40yd dash
College Career Stats
Attempts - 624
Yards - 2982
Touchdowns - 32
This unknown back, East Carolina Alumn, 2,000 yard rusher for the Tennessee Titans, Chris Johnson.
Johnson and Spiller have very similar physical builds, show the same break away speed and are very similar in running style, toughness, and durability. In fact, in college, Spiller has shown more lateral speed and agility than Johnson did in his college days.
When compared to other backs in the system I think a lot of you are underestimating the raw ability and skill set of Spiller and hopefully this comparison will show you that he is not a dime-a-dozen back. He is not an Aaron Brown, or even a Reggie Bush, he is a more talented back than the two of them, he really is a special player.
and for Statistics sake, the proof is in the pudding....numbers....whatever
Reggie Bush
Height 6-0
Weight 205 lbs
Speed 4.33 40yd dash
College Stats
Attempts - 243
Yards - 2648
Touchdowns - 22
Aaron Brown
Height 6-1
Weight 196 lbs
Speed 4.57
College Stats
Attempts - 487
Yards - 2596
Touchdowns - 20
I understand that these differences are small, but I hope this highlights how rare the body-type, speed, and talent that CJ & CJ really have, they are a different type of back.

IAG News Network: SM & LT UPDATE 2/16
The rumor-mill that is IAG news network has worked diligently to provide you with this piece of gossip
Around 7:40 PM LB Shawne Merriman of the San Diego Chargers posted the following:
" shawnemerriman I feel like going to the wild animal park and playing in a lions den"
Our rumor analysts believe this could mean the veteran is looking into the detroit organization as a new landing
spot once he is released from the chargers...or he is brutally suicidal YOU DECIDE.
UPDATE 2/16 10:33 It turns out there MIGHT be some supporting evidence of my Merriman claim.
It seems that according to league sources (the internet) LT's agent, Tom Condon, and his client are considering
wearing Honolulu Blue as a place for the once-high-producing veteran to end his career. My analysis: Shawne
Merriman does not want to go to the SD zoo he hates animals, he told me, I think he wants to possibly follow his
soon-to-be ex-teamate to a land of starting opportunity, and a nice new paycheck.

Osi You-Menorah
Is on first take and is currently saying that if he is not going to start for the New York Football Giants that he will not play. Such comments could lead to him being shipped out from the meadow lands. Yet another defensive lineman that will be too expensive and probably not even consider going to the Lions. Not that this is too realistic or probable, but hey, I am bored, and if I read another mock draft I will vomit all over my laptop, and I just got this laptop, so thats not a good idea.
Damn It,

There Is Something Wrong With Follett
Zak Follett Vlog
He is a character, straight up. For more videos like the one you just saw, and more, please check out zakarianfollett.com He seems to be vlogging more often, and often addresses the "Lions Nation"
I nominate someone (Sean!) to persuade Zak into providing some original content for the site, maybe when the off season workouts start kicking in he can give the fans here some exclusive information.
I am So Bored At School Right Now Fuck This Snow,
IAG
Vince Wilfork May Be Up For Grabs
Not that the Lions would be in position to pick up and sign this defensive stud, but NFL.com is reporting that Vince Wilfork is requesting a long term contract with the Patriots or, he will "move on". Addressing the media when asked what would happen if he was franchised tagged, Wilfork considered it a "slap in the face."
In a draft that is riddled with defensive depth it will be interesting to see the potential market for a proven defensive tackle. If the lions, this is a long shot, were to corral the defensive play maker, it would be interesting to see his effect on the draft.
I would assume Berry would be a lock with a high caliber defensive tackle, like Wilfork only in is (correction) sixth year.
Again this is Speculation, just figured you would appreciate the report.
Bias
Allow me to preface my entire post with the following: I am not calling out any one member of the Pride, I am simply make a set of suggestions to improve the quality of posts on the forum for the following months until the draft. It doesn't help that I hate mock drafts and vomit every time I have to read another we need Suh or STL needs to draft a quarterback, but here i go.
Please Try To Be Objective: I realize not all of us are journalists, or public relations, people (or understand the word objective). But allow me to explain. Time and time again I read mock drafts which portray the hopes and dreams of a young, or old, POD'er. With Nakkalakkaleeloo Suh, or Eric Berry, going first, which is fine, that is your opinion, or your wish, and it is based on the facts that these two players are ranked 1 and 2, respectively.
What is not ok, is when every other player we need to pick up in the later rounds is from Michigan, Michigan State, or Central Michigan. I have seen posters speculate the choices of Donovan Warren, as early as the second round. What is this selection based on, fact? Feeling that the front office has taken a liking to a particular player? No, it is complete and utter biased nonsense. Here is a list of CB's ranked higher, in my opinion based on fact, that should and will come before
| 1. | Patrick Robinson | Florida State | 5-11 | 194 | 4.40 |
| 2. | Perrish Cox | Oklahoma State | 6-0 | 198 | 4.45 |
| 3. | Kyle Wilson | Boise State | 5-10 | 186 | 4.40 |
| 4. | Brandon Ghee | Wake Forest | 6-0 | 190 | 4.45 |
| 5. | Jerome Murphy | South Florida | 6-1 | 185 | 4.50 |
| 6. | Javier Arenas | Alabama | 5-9 | 198 | 4.60 |
| 7. | Trevard Lindley | Kentucky | 6-0 | 179 | 4.55 |
| 8. | Myron Lewis | Vanderbilt | 6-2 | 205 | 4.50 |
| 9. | Devin McCourty | Rutgers | 5-11 | 190 | 4.50 |
Round Up: I am asking my POD brothers to shed their bias and take a little extra time to research and compile more accurate, non-biased information. Please do not get me wrong, this is not addressed at all of you, there are plenty of you that do the research and provide intelligent, thought provoking, football analysis. This is simply a trend I have been noticing since the surge of mock drafts to the board, and wish to squash it. Please, when providing opinion, base your evaluation in facts and information, it will not only provide you with further insight, but will also lead to posters and board members being a bit more respectful and accepting of your views.
Please if it feels like I used anyone's choices this is NOT a personal attack on you. I was only trying to be specific as possible to make my opinions clear. It is your choice to put whoever, or whatever, you want down in this dialogue box, and I will always respect your decision to do so. This was simply an attempt to raise the bar, especially during the off season, and make this site a little better.
Set Them Free...AGENTS
John Niyo, of The Detroit News, reports Detroit Lions QB Daunte Culpepper, LB Vinny Ciurciu, OT Damion Cook, TE Casey FitzSimmons, TE Will Heller, LB Larry Foote, CB Anthony Henry, CB William James, OT Jon Jansen, S Marquand Manuel and QB Patrick Ramsey will be unrestricted free agents this offseason.
Which of these guys do you want to see on the roster next year?
Minus Foote and Ramsey, I might consider letting the lot of em go.

Golden Special Teams Opportunity
Fire Stan Kwan and hire a new guy now!
I have said New Guy.
As you all may, or may not, know there was recently a coaching fire sale with in the Bills organization. This group firing included Bobby April, a man who has produced the top special teams unit over 5 times in the past 7 years. This guy really knows what he is doing on this side of the ball and could be a huge asset for the organization.
Temporarily a London Lion,

Mock Drafts: I am not gonna do
what everybody things I am gonna do and FREAK OUT man. All I am going to say is that I am enamored with Eric Berry, more so than Nahmanthatsalright Suh.
In my mind Defensive line is really something we can address in free agency, but a Safety like Berry, who has already been compared to Reed and Palaumalu is rare. And imagine the aggressive backfield we would have under the direction of Delmas and Berry.
Something For You to Digest,

Weird Thought
I know two posts in like 20 minutes fuck this guy right?
ANYWAY instead of preparing for my presentation I thought of the following.
I believe that Matthew Stafford will sit, until the last game of the season, to do one thing and one thing only. Embarrass Jay Cutler.
I know if we win we mess up our shots and picking whomever we please in the draft, BUT, i really do think Stafford wants to show Cutler who the man is after our first meeting.
Just a thought,

Short-term Memory
A new trend on the boards, new what the fuck am I talking about new. Since week four, the draft buzz has been all aflutter here on POD and a lot of you a talking about Nmadeasomguwkiwanukajustintuck Suh possibly becoming the newest member of our pride. The argument is that even if we do end up with the second overall pick there is NO WAY St. Louis can pass on this instant defensive starter.
For those of you that forget, we did.
Aaron Curry was supposed to be an instant upgrade to an anemic run defense, and if Schwartz and Mayhew were serious about changing the culture in Detroit we would have to go defense. And we chose Matthew Stafford, the quarterback, the building block needed for every franchise.
Yes I understand that my arguments are speculative and comparative, and that the St. Louis Rams are not on the clock, and haven't even written the words "draft board" yet, but please do not be surprised if Suh falls in our lap at number two, if we stay there, and please do not be surprised if we don't choose Suh and go offensive line, these are things that happen, and will continue to happen.
The only person you should talk about and feel bad for is Sam Bradford. The man who RAN back to college so that the Lions would not draft him, and now, if what I predict will happen, happens, Him and Nelly will be all snuggly together in St. Louis, Have Fun in Hell Bradford.
Always in the Love of the Pride,
I am Grossman
