Why You Shouldn't be Mad, Upset, or Hopeless: The final quarter of the season (aka Part 3)

So how about those last two weeks, huh? Definitely hard to swallow, so much so, I had to get on here and give a few choice posts about just how incredibly bad the Chiefs looked yesterday... Namely the wide receivers and anyone not named Tamba Hali or Jamaal Charles.

But I think everyone would like to just forget these last two games and look to the future of this team

Pretty interesting graph I think to see where each team ranks in terms of value.

The Chiefs are ranked at #14 overall, while having the 20th highest revenue, as well as having the 5th highest operating income. Seems like a pretty well-run small market team to me.

So if the Saints and the Vikings continue to win until the final game of the season, giving them the best record and 1st round byes, do the Saints vie for homefield advantage to go unbeaten?

Really, I'm curious to see how this all plays out, I think they are the best 2 teams in football this season. But first round byes have seldom been good things for teams.

Chambers said he’s interested in returning to the Chiefs next year, if that’s what it comes down to. He said it seems like the team is building something promising, despite a sloppy game like the one that played out in Chambers’ old backyard.

Chiefs receiver Chambers proves something to his former team

So Chambers would come back next season if the price is right, or no one else wants him. Nice, dude.

First thought on my mind?

McGraw, lol... Good to see them still doing nice things around the community though.

" Chargers cornerback Antonio Cromartie is being investigated after a fight at a bar in Pacific Beach early Monday morning that left one person with minor injuries, San Diego police said.

The fight was reported just before 1:30 a.m. at Bar West on Hornblend Street near Bayard Street, police said. Someone apparently threw a champagne bottle that hit another person in the head, police Detective Gary Hassen said."

Wow, the Chiefs have a special young talent in Jamaal Charles. The 2nd year back out of the University of Texas showed the world what legit track star speed looks like when he took the opening kickoff 97 yards to the house. With Stefan Logan in pursuit, Charles was able to basically coast in to the endzone for the final 10 yards. Charles also displayed toughness in the running game, an adept set of hands in the passing game, toughness fighting for yards after first contact, and an impressive sixth sense about how to pick up maximum yardage while protecting both his body and the football. The Chiefs will be a much more dangerous offense moving forward with him back there instead of Larry Johnson.
