Mile High Report Tebow vs Orton Limerick Style

I'm sure everybody on this site is getting quite old of this debate so I thought I'd just settle this Limerick Style!

State your opinion but only in a Limerick. Here goes nothing.

There once was man from Purdue

He had a neckbeard so long he could chew.

He thinks that this year his 9 million is due

although his stone feet are making EFX feel the blues.

The Neckbeard thinks this job is his to lose

But there's this guy named Tebow who refuses to lose.

He grew up in the swamp of gator land

He won a heismann, a national title, and is pretty much superman.

He may have a hitch in his throwing motion

But that doesn't matter, cuz he's under the notion that our Broncos will be superbowl bound!

Mile High Report The Best DE in the Draft?

This post is a result from an argument with BFSD that Ryan Kerrigan is the best fit in a 3-4 and is undersized to play full time DE in a 4-3. I have not been a fan of drafting DE with our first pick because I'd like to see Ayers in the system for a year. I'm also not advocating we take Kerrigan with #2 overall but if the rookie wage scale is in place there could be plenty of teams looking to move up he could be an option later down in the draft.

Another reason I wanted to do this post is just to look at some other prospects. We have all beat the Fairley's, Dareus's, Petersen's to death so here's a closer look at somewhat of an unknown prospect. More after the jump.

Poll
Is Ryan Kerrigan a viable option for the Broncos?
He could definitely team with Doom & bring the pain

Would be a waste of a pick because we already have Ayers

Is too undersized to play DE in the 43

Will be a much better Value pick at DE than Bowers

Behind the Steel Curtain A Little Mock Draft Help?

Howdy Steeler fans! Idaho Nate here from the Mile High Report. First of all, congrats on handing it to us this year. MHR is doing a live interactive mock draft this sunday and I chose to pick for the Steelers. Since the Broncos were already spoken for, I thought I'd do my best to help rebuild the Steel Curtain.

I've done a little research here for needs and such, but it seems like you guys are all over the board from OL, CB, FS, ILB and OLB. Our mock draft is only 3 rounds and I wanted to get your insight as to your greatest needs.

I haven't heard anything about running back. It sounds like you may lose Willie, so I was thinking maybe a Toby Gerhart to compliment Mendenhall? Anyways, a little help would be greatly appreciated; Good luck in the draft this year, and come see how I did for you guys. We should be done by Sunday afternoon.

Bleeding Green Nation Eatin Crow!

Hey eagles fans,

Broncos fan here, and just wanted to say I highly respect your fans and your organization and I wish you all the luck this season/post season, except of course this game; but was just reading through this old article and wanted to post this old comment by one of your finest bloggers. I was laughing my ass off at this article. Easy to do after the fact and absolutely mean no disrespect. I don't think I pasted this right, but the comment was from "Jack is better than Asante" Or something like that. Once again, here's to a good game with no injuries and of course a good ass kickin from BDAWK!

Now I'm not saying that Orton's a world beater or anything, and you guys may very well embarass us tomorrow but from the mouth of Chris Carter " C'mon Man!"

ok

marshall is smart .. would u want to pay for less money than u deserve and have kyle orton as your qb .. they dont got cutler anymore .. thats not marshalls fault .. so he should be pissed .. mcdaniels is a jackass .. hes ruining the broncos .. cutler is on a better team now .. so hes smart as well .. and if my new coach was trying to replace me .. the franchise qb .. from the day he started i would be pissed too .. fuck that .. i would do the same thing cutler did . enough of this man up shit .. cutler is more important than mcdaniels .. if i was the owner .. mcdaniels would of been fired before he started .. now the broncos are a bad team .. and getting worse because there best player doesnt wanna play for that prick either .. look at moss .. he didnt wanna play in oakland so he didnt .. he goes to pats .. and hes the man again .. same thing with chad johnson .. he dont wanna play there ..esp with ryan fitzpatrick .. now palmer is back and hes almost out .. so he will play this year .. players play when they want to .. motivation is not something brought about by all this leadership bs .. its self motivated .. if i feel like playing i will .. if u take away my qb and dont wanna pay me .. than fuck u .. try n win with out ur superstar …which u wont ..

Mile High Report Another Maurice Clarrett?

Here is a pretty good article on what sounds like a potential superstar who would play mlb in a 3-4 system. He has had character problems in the past, but sounds like he's grown up and matured. It says in the article that Denver has looked at him, as well as many other teams. Would you guys take a shot at him in the 6th or 7th round?

Here is the link, hopefully it works.

Willie Williams

Mile High Report Idaho Nate's Official 7 Round Mock

After countless hours of tireless research, I'm positive I've created an exact replica of the Bronco's draft. I'm so confident I know McXander's drafting approach that I would like to just claim my prize now:)

Even though I know every pick will be right, all you bronco nation draftivus geniuses may commence to ripping me apart. Don't be shy, I'll take it like a man!

1a Rey Maualuga MLB USC

This Beast of a man will shore up the middle for years and end up in the ring of fame.

1b Tyson Jackson DE  LSU

Another Beast who will crash the edges

2 Patrick Chung CB Oregon

Can You imagine Chung, Bailey, and B-Dawk in the secondary? A day 1 starter

3a Derry Beckwith MLB LSU

One of the most underrated MLB's in the draft. Will eventually pair with Rey in the middle with Doom and Moss on the outside.

3b Sammie Lee Hill NT Stillman

The best NT in the draft, you heard it hear first!

4 Paul Kruger DE Utah

Maybe a little bit of a sentimental pick here, I watched this guy tear up pokes many times. A very high character guy who knows how to get after the qb

5 Nate Davis QB Ball St.

My worst pick in the draft! He will act as a DD for Neckbeard. At least he has a cool name though.

6 Marko Mitchell WR Nevada

Watched this guy play, he's a beast who could take the pressure off Bmarsh

7a Kory Sheets RB Purdue

Maybe the steal of the draft here! A versatile guy who is a powerful runner, good blocker, and has good hands. We can't have too many running backs right?

7b Louie Sakoda PK Utah

Prater is not getting the job done and McD wants to personally groom his new future HOF kicker.

Ok fellow bronco's let me have it! Please don't copy me just for the sake of winning!

Mile High Report Other Trade Possibility

Hello Bronco Nation! I've been lurking on this site for quite sometime but am not one to usually chime in. I wanted to throw out another trade possiblity that I haven't heard of yet, but makes perfect sense, at least to me; the Houston Texans.

I think we all know that the Texans aren't sold on Matt Schaub and that Cutler and Kubiak know each other well. Kubiak runs the same kind of offense that cry baby Jay is comfortable with and has a formidable target in Andre Johnson.

What does everybody think of trading Jay for Shaub and the Texans #15, #46, and #77. Houston also has many young defensive players that could be packaged.

The Texans have not come up as possible trade partners, but it makes perfect sense! I would love to hear all your comments!
