I have been a lifelong fan of the Cubs for over 50 years. Last year I watched Jim Edmonds play with confidence, show leadership and get quality at bats. Nobody has even mentioned his loss to the club this year. Fukudome is better suited for right field. We need a front line top drawer 2 way center fielder NOW ! If we have to trade a starter to get one it should be done. I know Reed platooned with Jim but what a savvy veteran he was !
