Brett Greenwood is rated as the highest safety in NCAA11, at a 92 overall. I love Greenwood and all that he represents as a Hawkeye (Iowa kid, walk-on becomes starter, etc.), but wow.

He's ranked above Adrian Clayborn (not in the top 99) and OSU's Cam Heyward, among plenty of others. How Clayborn isn't one of the best 100 players makes this happen (but there are 3 Boise players in the top 15, so meh).

From Ridiculous Upside, the one and only Sonderleiter getting a bit of pub for being invited to the D-League "Elite" camp. OP says that Looby should have been invited to, albeit his strength being dunks and tip-ins.

I love Sondy as much as the next semi-interested Iowa bball fan, so good to see. But makes me sad that EEEEE Andre Woolridge EEEEEEEEEEE didn't have a shot at the Association through the d-league.

It's Memorial Day; we've all had our draaank and our time in the sun. Thanks to all those who have served and given us a reason to remember.

As a Hawkeye, having Nile be the namesake of the best GD stadium in college football makes me all the more proud and thankful for the men and women who serve in all the armed forces.

Ricky = Captain America, the shirt is nice (although with a slight Ed Hardy twinge to it)...but the hat?!? Sweet Lord, that's a fine fine chapeau.

Also, I have no idea what's going on with the other guy's, ummm...ensemble. The framed photo of Ricky and Tony made me LOL however. And I respect a man that uses gloves to consume the High Life.

Sitting in an RV in the lot next to the Rec building, enjoying Iowa State's FAIL and the typical tailgating libations, I was enjoying my first Saturday in IC since 2006. Talking with some other townies, the RV was entered frequently by those looking for a non-plastic pisser.

Imagine my surprise when I see a hula hoop entering the RV. After the hula hoop, I hear a voice that sounds like it's been smoking unfiltered Marlboro's for about 50 years...and the voice has a Texas accent. The woman makes her presence known by saying something stupid in Texan, then announces her name is...Tyger. I never caught the last name, but trust me, seeing the awesomest fakest awesomest boob job ever, I'm pretty sure I caught the one and only.

Long story short, her and her hubby come up from Houston for every home game, she "needs to work on her ghetto booty", and she brings the pain via hula hoop. Not a bad way to break my for my long-overdue tailgating dry spell.
