First of all I wanted to say this is NOT an advertisement!

I just figured I would share this link with everybody... Shows you how to get 1 year of ESPN magazine (which is supposed to include ESPN Insider) for ONLY $2.97. I went ahead and got a year to check it out. I just hate how annoying it is to have to be an ESPN insider to view their articles that should be FREE.

The Dream Shake $14.99 NBA Summer League Broadband

I am curious as to how many of you are going to pay the $14.99 fee to watch the Summer League games. I don't think they should charge this much just for summer games, but I would be willing to pay the money to watch the new prospects (James White, Joey Dorsey, Jermaine Taylor, etc.) and see how they perform. I only want to pay though if the games are promising to be in good quality and not like my local channel hosting a highschool football game.

So those of you that end up purchasing the plan and watching the game today at 3:00pm against Golden State, how is the experience? Good quality? Worth it? Entertaining or would you rather be doing something else?

Also, if anybody discovers any free feeds or other ways to watch it, let us know!

According to the same source that disclosed Terry Porter was about to be fired as Suns coach, the Rockets are leaning toward swapping Tracy McGrady's expiring $22M contract, Carl Landry and Aaron Brooks for Leandro Barbosa and (Amare) Stoudemire, who owns an escape clause after next season and is demanding an extension this summer to waive it.

From ESPN's Chad Ford: "The Rockets are actively hunting for a team willing to trade its lottery pick. Their offer? Carl Landry. I love Landry, but not sure he's worth a lottery pick. Then again, in this draft … maybe."

[While Ford is no expert talent evaluator, he is definitely in the loop on rumors. The legitimacy of this rumor isn't in question, rather the chance of it actually happening. This is probably, as most rumors are, a simple, ten second-long inquiry on a phone call between GM's. --Tom]
