Terrible Officiating
I am sooooooooo sick of getting fucked by the refs. It is beyond ridiculous and someone needs to speak up out of Detroit. I want Stafford, CJ, Schwartz, Ford, someone that is worth a damn to call out the NFL and the HORRIBLE officiating we've had. Just let loose on the refs and take the fine. Call it a conspiracy saying the NFL doesn't want the Lions to win, I don't care, just make the NFL look terrible, headline news everyone saying "Did you see what Jim Schwartz said?" Call them out and i GUARANTEE the next time there's a questionable call it goes our way. It's week after week, bad call after bad call and I've had enough. I'm not blaming our record on the refs but just the last game against the Bears we had the lead and then deja vu, Suh gets a 15 yard penalty for SHOVING someone down. The ref that was BEHIND the play made the call. How is he in position to make the call? And that penalty gave Chicago momentum and what do you know they scored on the next play to go up 4. That penalty gave Chicago all the momentum and sucked the life out of us. And then the Dallas game the unbelievably God awful hair pull/facemask/whatever the fuck they called was beyond ridiculous and again Dallas scored right after the penalty and gained all the momentum and never looked back. I can't say whether we would have beat Dallas or Chicago if those penalties weren't called but both of those penalties SHOULD NOT have been called. Those 2 stick out in my mind the most and there are so many more bad calls and it never changes. No "good" teams will get these calls against them the way the Lions do and if there was a call like the one yesterday against Chicago which arguably changed the outcome of the game then I can tell you there would be a lot of talk on ESPN about the officiating. Someone needs to speak up because nothing is changing. Schwartz needs to grow some fucking balls and call out Goodell's ass and let him know there's other teams in the league besides New England, New York, Pittsburgh, Indy, etc.

Suh just killing the Heisman
Look at Suh just taking the heisman down like it's nobody's buisness. Maybe we can sign Pacman and they can fight a tag team match. I wasn't aware that he was part of the WWE... Link

The Lions taking last place
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9601836/Ranking-the-NFL-franchises?gt1=39002
Fox Sports gave the Lions last place for worst franchise. Mainly because of WCF and how much of a moron he is. Very tough decision to rate the Lions the as the worst franchise in the NFL (not). It's pretty funny how they say the Lions have been rebuilding since 1957. Eventually WCF will be gone... Don't care much as to how
What Would Millen Do?
Everyone is talking about what we should do in the 2009 draft. But how about this for shits and giggles; give me your Matt Millen mock draft for the 2009 draft. What is the absolute worst situation Matt Millen could get us in this year if he was still the GM somehow after an 0-16 season? I have a pretty good idea what the 1st pick will be for most people. I'm sorry for even bringing up this "Hitler-like" name for Detroit, but this will be quite humorous. Let the Millen mocking begin.
Solution to our QB dilema...
There's no reason to draft Stafford with the number 1 pick. All we need to do is talk Favre out of retirement. Favre takes over after we draft a defense and leads us to the 2010 Super Bowl!!! Plus he would love to get back at Green Bay for trading him and sticking with Rodgers, so how about it. Favre in Blue and Silver next year, 2010 Super Bowl MVP. Anyone else agree with me?
Our New Coach
As much as I don't want to think this way... Are the coaching canidates really going to take this 100% seriously? People know they can come to Detroit and be horrible, but still milk Ford for his money. Just like Millen did; these coaches know that even if they don't turn Detroit into a mediocre team at best, they can still make bank.
I don't want to think that this would happen and that obviously a coach's first priority is to win, but you know that this will be in the back of their head. Failure is always an option in Detroit and everyone knows that. What has it done to anyones rep either? Look at Millen, working for NBC. Look at Marinelli, gets a job with the Bears. I just hope Ford actually gives a shit about this team now. (And I'm sure he will now that his stadium isn't selling out and he's losing money)
