versus the New Orlean Hornets? It is this Thursday, October 22nd at 7:30 p.m. I have an excellent lower bowl seat.

I want to emphasize that is is only ONE seat in the area I call the endzone. I am sure you get my drift. If y ou are interested, then leave your e-mail address and I'll shoot the ticket to you.

Also, I am interested in compiling a list of people who are interested in going to future games when I cannot go or don't want to be bothered with the Warriros. Again, it is ONE ticket.

Hint, I don't do Lakers or Kings game. I refuse to support the Kobe show and or tolerate boorish fans

Season Ticket Holder Event & My New Best Friends 10/03/09

Received the e-mail from the A's. The way this works is that the seasonticket holder & their party needs to go to section 145 before the game (preferably) to get wristbands. For those not going to the game but to the event, they can get their wristbands outside of the Arena. I'm not going into too much detail as season ticket holders have received e-mails with the inof.

When the game ends, we line up at the stairwells at either section102 or 132 and proceed to the field where the players will personally thank us. We are encouraged to bring cameras.

Afterwards, we go to the East Side Club where Buan will interview Andrew Bailey & Ray Fosse & Ken Korach will handle a raffle. Snacks & beverages will be provided.

So my guests are Englishmajor, of course and Optimist Prime, if they rsvp. If not, I'll continue down the list.

This includes a hotdog, chips & soda. Traded in some of my unused tickets but the individual who expressed an interest has decided not to go. So, if anyone is interested, it can be a pair or someone can take all 4. Or if one person wants just one ticket that's fine too. The meals are all on one ticket so one person will have to hold it for everyone.... work it out amongst yourseves.

The tickets are in Section 231. Plus , you have to pick up the tickets from me, I'm not mailing anything at this point. I live and work in Oakland.

Possibility of Two Free Tickets This Fiday vs the White Sox

in section 129, row 24. I will know for sure tomorrow evening. i would prefer to give them to somone who can come to downtown Oakland & pick them up as I don't want to have to worry about getting them to Will Call.

My other preference is to give them to someone who ordinarily cannot afford to go. I'm not asking people to out themselves financially, ,.but it is entirely possible that leisure expenses like games don't easily fit into the budget.

it will be turned into a stadium. the pristine grass ( can you use pristine to describe grass/) will be "raided"

and the facility will be turned into a stadium. I guess that's what happens when you do a deal with a wily old pirate.

So the field will be really jacked up as the pre-season game is played on Thursday and will have to be re-converted to a ballpark by Friday.

I have 4 Rickey pins, the Rickey character slides from one side of the pin to the other. $9

I have A 2009 HOF patch $13

I have a gray XXL HOF 2009 tee shirt $20

I have two gold and one silver balls with inscribed autographs of the inductees. $10

These are at cost. So if you are interstede and plan to go to any of our home games, let me know.

The HOF caps went very, very fast but I may be able to squeeze one out if someone really,reaaly wants one. It has the HOF Insignia and has Gordon Rice Henderson across the brim.

Being older, I can no longer multi-task, i.e. get ready for my baseball tour and funciton at work the next day.)

My seat is Section 128 Row 9 Seat 2 (which is right behind the bullpen)

I also have a random ticket for Friday, August 14th in Section 127. It is from a game that I was unable to attend,. I exchanged the "dead" ticket for that seat. That is the Friday, Chicago White Sox game.

I'll be going on my baseball tour which includes the Hall of fame Induction Ceremony. Oddly, I only became a fan in 2000 and missed the entire Rickey era. So, I have to take everyone's word as to how fun it was to watch him play .
My offer is to buy low cost trinkets for those who want them , provided I get reimbursed. I mean caps, key rings, maybe a lightweight mug , a souvenir book , if not too expensive..... I can bring them to AN day of mail it to the person if they are not w/i strining distance. So let me know by Wednesday, I can't assume I'll be able to get online cuz I'll wither be traveling or at a game.

A's Fans Take It in the Shorts...due to Oakland's budget woes.

"A dispute has arisen between Alameda County and the city of Oakland over parking at the Coliseum.

The county has filed suit against the city for enforcing its 18.5 percent city parking tax on spots on the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum property. The Coliseum property is jointly owned by both the county and city, and governed by a joint-powers authority mainly made up of officials from both sides.

The new enforcement of the tax will have an immediate effect on baseball fans. The A's announced Monday parking fees will go up $2 at the Coliseum starting with the next homestand."

I mean really, Oakland, just continue to show your disdain for your sport's franchises. YOU only recognize them when the team goes to the play-offs and the mayor gets to bet with the opposing team's mayor. Or, if you can squeeze more money out.

Watching these games on tv is getting more & more tempting.

Fortunately season ticket holder's parking will be the same. But $17 for parking at the Colisuem?
