Blog a Bull Where are all the Duhon haters

What happened? I thought everyone hates Duhon. Captain Kirk is the man!

Said Skiles: "We had some quality point guard play there for eight minutes, and our offense looked very good. (Duhon) opened up the floor for a lot of people and made things happen."

Blog a Bull Big Ben Speaks

http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070916/SPORTS03/709160691/1051

"On whether the Bulls can get past the Pistons this year: I think we are in a position where we could compete with anybody in this league."

It is great to hear him say we instead of they.

Has anyone heard if he is participating in the off-season program?

Blog a Bull Garnett, Gasol & AD

I am sure that Paxson has not engaged in any behind the scenes negotiating but maybe he just has a feeling that the Bulls will be in an excellent position to trade for Garnett after this season.

In the meantime, I wonder if there is any chance of getting AD back for the playoffs.

Blog a Bull Tyrus, the inside scorer

"The one thing I think we'd all like is the guy who plays with his back to the basket and scores those buckets inside, and maybe run some offense through [him]," Paxson said. "We'd like to have another [scorer] to complement what Ben can do."

inside scorer

Why can't Tyrus Thomas become the inside scorer? Is it possible that Pax is sending a meaasage to Tyrus to hold off on his quest to be a small forward and focus on the power forward position for now?

Blog a Bull Point guard controversy

Apparently Ben Gordon thinks he should be playing the point:

"Gordon, the starting two guard, said point probably is his better position, but Kirk Hinrich has that spot.

''I have the tools to do it because guys have to cover me on offense, and that makes it easier to make plays for others,'' Gordon said.

I hope this doesn't have anything to do with his "inconsistency"

Blog a Bull Pax waiting on the Knicks before deciding on big man

I have been trying to figure out why Pax seems comfortable going into this season with only Ben Wallace, Luke S. and few power forwards sharing time at the center position. If Ben gets injured, then we are in trouble. It may be that Pax is waitng to see if the Knicks are going to be a lottery team this year. I think if the Knicks start out strong, then Pax will look to trade one of our key palyers at the guard or small forward position for a legitimate back up center. Maybe a young guy that could be groomed to take over for Ben in a few years. However, if the Knicks start out like last year, then Pax just may roll the dice and wait for the deep big man 2007 draft and trade what will almost certainly be our low draft pick fot the knicks lottery pick.
