Why Don Nelson refuses to run extended minutes with Ronny and Andris out there at the same time is beyond be, but attempting to understand how nellie thinks, im guessing that well have aboslutely no legit big behind our starters probably has something to do with it. Who cares at this point. I look at Turiaf's game and i think it complements AB's game and our starting needs perfectly. Nice outside 15 foot jumper, dominating shot blocker, decent rebounder when not cleaning up other shotty difense.

This lineup has the potential to DOMINATE other mediocre teams and compete with the best IMO: monta, jamal (or bukie), SJax, Turiaf, and beans. Blocking, scoring, assists, and team deafense. cant vouch for anyones one on one D but hey, its a start. That lineup when healthy IS a playoff team and maybe a second round playoff team if monta ever comes back to form. Something is still needed here namely a quality backup big with meat on his bones that likes to get dirty.

All this trade talk gets kind of redundant reading this site everyday and now im more interested in manipulating the things we can control rather than waiting for a pau gasol or ron ron trade. Amare, who would complete my dream sheet would complement beans and ronny perfectly but just isnt realistic and i hope i am wrong.

Please Nelson, go for broke and start em anyway. this team is not half as bad as our record might indicate and one tweak (wing for a big) and the start of a new season, we will be right!!! Im wondering what other fans think about ronny and beans starting together with maggette, marco or watson, and a big (to be named later via trade or free agency) assuming that bukie, jamal, and or morrow will be the cost of a big..

A team of redundancy..

Watching these games get progressively worse, with my fanhood not waivering is PAINFUL. Analyzing all the front office mistakes and wondering why is guy like nellie with 45 plus years of nba experience is either mindblowingly stubborn (which is the undoubted concensus) or just plain retarded. For the record, I am fond of the style he plays and the ONCE IN WHILE genius he exudes (stephen and baron killing dirk defensively in 07 playoffs) but this god awful defense is atrocious (dont care to lookup spelling). I recently ran down the roster and asked myself these very relavent questions..

- When you are stealing buike for 3 million capable of scoring, why spend 50 over 5 years for maggette. i read in an earlier post the "bukie and maggette looking like brothers out there" and dude is right on point. within an inch of the same height. both stout with cannons for biceps and both cannot pass for s*%^!.

10 MILLION PER WASTED

-2 consecutive years,2 lottery picks, 2 left handed, light in the ass, 6'9/6'10 extremely young wet behind the ears players. while these guys are completely different players OFFENSIVELY they are the same player DEFENSIVELY. get blocks and start the break. disturb shots with their length and unfortunately get punked on a nightly basis by the nene, zach's, goodens, and millsaps of the league. while one could be marcus camby and the other be lamar odom and based off what ive see so far, id keep randolph if i had to get rid of one

LOTTERY PICK NOT MAXIMIZED

I admit it, after morrows second game i was ready to sell marco for 2 cents on the dollar but that was a bit premature. maybe i should be comparing belli and morrow forthe sake of redundancy but i call these 3 out together because these guys are D-LEAGUE PLAYERS. period! i dont mind give guys like this a shot one roster spot per year (morrow this year) but anything more and we basically got a ncaa d1 team out there. weve had some crazy steals over recent years but i think the front office along with nellie are feeling themselves a bit too much here with these guys getting way too many mintues without legitamite nba talent or potential for the tick they getting. I would hope that if we are goingto trot D-League talent out there that their strengths fill a NEED on the team like i dont know......HENDRIX! someone please tell me why 3 guys who went undrafted whom none of have what we need are getting burn over our 2nd round pick??

-Roster spots wasted

Ronny, Ronny, Ronny

I thought we were getting a steal with this guy but didnt realize his weakness til i saw him play on a nightly basis. DONT GET ME WRONG. I LOVE THE GUY AND AT 4 MIL he will never be a detriment to this team. but if he had something more to compliment his dunks and 15 footer then he would be the guy were looking for but as it stands it really depends on who were playing and game situations for him to be playing. something puzzling about him that i have yet to come to a conclusion about is his blks per game/minutes on the floor vs rebounds. EXCEPTIONAL shot blocker but does it hurt his rebounding game?? for a while there he was averaging more blocks than rebounds which has recently changed to slightly edge rebounds and if its truely because his on the ball and help defense are taking him out of position then im ok with it but looking at the stat sheet i am disappointed with his rebounding totals. Hope he improves..

I seriously dont mind losing right now as much as it frustrates me bleeding into other parts of my life if there is a light at the end of the tunnel. i say sit sjax and maggette til monta comes back. what isthere to gain? this season is lost. why try to win when we are getting our ass kicked on a nightly basis still paying a hurt jax and maggette. sit these black holes until were are ready to make a serious run, or finally ready to find some team chemistry and an improved lottery pick. in the mean time, find a solid role player / star within one of the yound guys (marco, marcus, randolph, hendrix, morrow)

the team seriously needs to find some direction by the feb trade deadline. i love jamal's game and when the rest of the team comes together jamal will be a dynamite player but he has been lost in our turmoil as of late. TRADE maggette and package him with some of this redundacy for something we can use since the cap space he would have given up to solve our problems is GONE. if it was up to me i would send corey, wright, and maybe even morrow if he got any value for anything expiring, decent wing with a defensive mind set, a bruiser/enforcer with decent high post game or a combination of the 3. REALISTIC PLAYERS that come to mind that are on my wishlist are:

D.Gooden or nocioni, Rwallace,Kaman,Bmiller,Darko w/buckner, landry or scola, oberto w/udoka.

players like buckner or trenton hassell do not have the talent based our young players have but we really need one of those vets to tech the young guys and come out there sacrafice for the team and add some experience to this squad on a reasonably cheap contract.

UNfortunatley for us when maggette becomes tradable on monday there are only a handful of team who may have interest. wings are not hard to come by in this league and when people mention trade with him you have to be realistic. san antonio, toronto, orlando, and the clips have a need. of those teams only kaman and bowen or udoka are realistic players this team needs. lol maybe petrius too.i like jermaine but we dont have enough to give in return that im willing to sacrafice for him. but id dump his ass for nesterovic im so eager to get rid of him. dont get me wrong, nice player with a mean midrage when he gets hot and awesome foul shooter but i HAVE never seen a black hole quite like him before. or maybe just never on the warriors scrutinizing his every move. but maggette has the worst tunnel vision ive ever seen in a nba game and watching morrow and jamal shrug in disbelief a few games ago was so disappointing it was funny. i think it was portland he missed a shot badly and the rebound came back directly to him. had jamal and morrow both for wide open 3's to his left and was so narrow minded he jacked up another brick with both jamal and morrow looking at nelson like WTF? this one scene told me everything i needed to know about our team chemistry with corey out there. TRADE HIS ASS!!

Just thinking outside the box i like to guess what might happen by evaluating whats already happened. Let me preface what im about to write by saying that im a big fan of this trade and think crawford (poor man's boom dizzle, without the girth) will surprise many here, grow to be loved by most and excel with nelson and monta by his side. However, i cannot help but wonder with roughly 40 million invested in 4 perimeter players regardless of where nellie start maggs, who is the odd man out? obviously not jackson. and probably not maggette. i love what he bring to the team, ft shooting combined with an ability to get to the rim and a killer midrange game but would personally trade him and not signed him in the first place. i wouldnt put it past the organization to trade him quickly but i doubt it will happen. crawfords skills are raw and im worried about his shot selection but this dude is a straight up baller!! doesnt rebound, but he will replace ALOT of what diddy brought to the table. he complements monta perfectly and will be very interchangeable peices with PG duties shared offensively by him monta and sjax. we bring morrow and bukie of the bench, and thats the rotation. sounds good, but standing pat and letting our bigs develop could be that plan and just trotting premiere high priced perimeter players out there. obviously cj is lost in the mix but something is telling me we could be going in another direction come the trade deadline. you heard it here first. MONTA WILL BE TRADED!!

-Given the bad taste left in both parties mouths i suspect a move will be made to trade monta or void his contract (doubt but still a possiblity.) If mullin is indeed monta biggest fan and he's on his way out he is easily our biggest asset to get a real prize out on the open market. toss in belinelli and wright and could be lookin at a real prize, but who is anybodies guess. i just hope its an allstar caliber big who truely compliments AB. consequently, i think that person just got traded to the clips but thats just me. Could this happen and who would it be for??

Harrington, Marco and Bukie..

I am so sick of ignorant comments but atthe same time i do love the enthusiasm. For those of you who dont understand the economics of NBA basketball please refrain from making fantasy trade purposals for other to comment on. In regards to Harrington, Marco, and KAZ it is so simple i dont know why the people who are getting paid to handle business cannot figure it out.

A) salary DUMP Al aka TMNT(whoever came up that one, kudos!!) for an expiring. we really dont need a damn thing in retun as far a player goes. watching us manage without a true PG gives me full confidence we'll be fine when monta comes back even if he never averages 10apg.

B) trade bellinelli for the lottery protected pick we gave NJ(or another teams lottey protected pick will do), package him w/harrington for something sweeter to any taker. like swift, hassell and swilliams would be realistic. dont want hassell and his 4 mil next year but he make this work rather than a disgruntled ninja turtle!

C) Keep KAZ right where the hell he is. you people who think this man is expendable are retarded. as far as him, ronny, and sjax. WE ARE STEALING them based off the returns for our dollar. UNLESS we are getting a bonafide star in his prime they stay here!! 3 million for bukie, 4 for ronny (more valuable for the intagibles he brings to our team that got for for years on the inside).

the cap is close to 60 mill and a roster of 15 people. it dont get ANY better than bukies 3 million unless your talking about a rookie contracts from the likes of mr. CPaul himself. I wasnt for giving sjax an extension b4 the start of the season but after watching his leadership and composure and the fact that he's got a vets game that isnt based off raw athleticism. pay him around 10 mill. hes still naturally #2 on the pecking order of things but i love his game as long as he can continually work on his shot selection.

personal wishes even if unwarranted:

please give marcus a fairshot, regardless of underachievement in practice and issues about his defense. his assists per minute will be worth it with a decent 3pt shot.

play a.randolph more, more, more! saw this guy in summer league and he is lamar odom re-encarnated. and looks to be more agressive. will be a crazy mismatch when he works his growning pains worked out and adds 15lbs of muscle!!

The moves by chris mullin for better or worse have been decent moves at the time. he repented for his sins paying foyle, murphy, and dunleavy by the trades and buyout. for those of u who think trading jrich was a mistake we got maggette for cheaper. id like to praise him for getting somebody on my dream sheet. marcus williams. dude is very low risk, high reward. he played baron's situation like he should have and well look like winners in two years when he gets fat and happy. dont get me wrong. i love bdiddy and think he is top 5 most unstoppable players is the nba, but only when motivated. i wish mullin had gavin petrius what he got in orlando instead of overpaying maggette but i can live with that move considering barons money off the books. next move TRADE AL HARRINGTON. he still has untapped potential but wont realize it here. get his 10 mil off the books if you can but i guess since he comes off for the 2010 coveted FA class then theres no rush. Am i the only who this that we need to play turiaf WITH biedrins and not as a sub? i for one am tired of getting killed by the likes of Clandry, Pmillsap, Jmaxiell, Tduncan, Abynum, Amare,Bbass,zach,KG,brand, chandler and eveeryone else who has career highs against us too name a few. goose cant guard them all with 4 perimeter players on the court! if we upgrade the 4 spot and monta or marcus step up at point we are contenders. AL and Bwright needs to go. my new dream sheet consists of rashweed wallace and jsmoove. i love rashweeds expiring 13 mil for next season. can hit the 3. great D length with moderate girth and crazy intensity to bring back that swag from 06-07. with turiaf as the servicable backup to both him and goose.

I went to vegas to check out our picks and let me tell you guys we got a superstar in randolph 3 or 4 years down the line. this kid is lamar odom reincarnated to be more aggressive with oh so sweet passing to boot!! i cant get too erect from the same feeling i had with belli last year but damn. dude is raw! i dont hear nobody givin mullin his props for the drafts he been involved in. even murphy was agreat pick til they overpaid him.

I found this site a few days ago and now cant stay off it to concentrate on my hwk..i was wondering where all the junkies were thinkin i was the only one for the dubz..
