Small Market, Big Heart
A great documentary on the love Sacramento has for the Kings and their struggles to keep them there. It's about an hour and twenty minutes, but as a fan of a fellow small market team you should watch. Fanbases losing their team is terrible, and it could happen to us.
Larry Coon's new NBA CBA FAQ LOL BBQ
Mr. Coon finished updating his outstanding handy dandy guide to the NBA's post-lockout salary cap. Regardless of how well versed you may be in the ins and outs (hint, not as much as Larry Coon) it'll be an invaluable resource this offseason.
Game 3 - Pacers @ Magic - Game Thread
I guess Tom and Nathan are passed out drunk or something. We can use this as the game thread until they get the front page one up.
Lou Amundson, MUST resign?
I've got to admit, when we traded perpetual scapegoat Brandon Rush for Lou Amundson (and a 2015 2nd rounder, don't forget!), I was a bit disappointed. I was more than fine with moving on from Rush, but nothing in return but a journeyman "hustle big?" I thought Bird sold low, and given what Rush has done in Oakland maybe he did a bit, but I don't care because it's nowhere near as drastic a talent gap as I anticipated.
This is (really) cheesy, but get on board
Clearly every person that participates on this site is a hardcore Indiana Pacers fan. Up until 53 or so weeks ago it was pretty easy to question why, but that's not how we roll, for better or worse. I love and appreciate you all, even the ones I perpetually think are out of their damn minds.

Good news: Hill plans to be back before the All Star Break
Injured Indiana Pacers guard George Hill has some work ahead of him before he returns to the lineup, but he took a step in that direction Saturday when he wore a shoe on his left foot instead of a walking boot.
Hill has missed the past three games after suffering a small chip fracture in his left ankle against New Jersey on Jan. 31.
"It's not as bad as they thought it was," Hill said. "It's only a partial chip instead of it being fully chipped. They say my return is looking pretty good."
Neither Hill nor the Pacers would put a timetable on his return, but the former Broad Ripple High School and IUPUI star said his goal is to return before the All-Star break, which starts Feb. 23.
"I'm planning on it," Hill said. "I have to continue to do the rehab they've got me doing and things like that."
Hayward Interview
I'm a Pacers fan but figured I'd share with you guys. Mark Montieth's a local radio guy here in Indy and recently sat down with Gordon Hayward for one of his "One On One" interviews.
They're long, usually 45 minutes, and a lot more personal and intimate than most other sit downs. Just figured you guys would like to hear it. The link goes straight to the mp3.

Nene wants out of Denver, Indy has gauged interest
http://ken-berger.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/11838893/33584531
One of the surest bets of the soon-to-begin 2011 NBA free-agent period is that Nene wants out of Denver. Where he winds up, and how, will be among the most intriguing storylines when the floodgates open around Dec. 9.
The Nuggets are operating under the firm belief that Nene will test the market as an unrestricted free agent, according to a person familiar with the team's thinking. Six teams have registered interest, the source said: Golden State, New Jersey, Indiana, Miami, Dallas and Houston.
WE GOT A DEAL!
Even NBA.com says so. All over Twitter. Ken Berger, Wojnarowski, Larry Coon, Chris Sheridan.

Paul George - small town kid comes up big
Let’s be honest: When the 2010-2011 NBA season started, how many of you reading this thought that Paul George would be the rookie making the most noise in these playoffs?
I certainly didn’t.
Indy Cornrows NCAA Tournament Pick' Em 2011

Update from a rumor in the Wizards game thread.
Paul George gets his HS jersey retired
Sure, not the biggest of news, but Paul George got his #24 retired at his alma mater, Pete Knight High School in Palmdale, CA.
Congrats PG, here's to hoping this isn't your last jersey retirement.
Behold, the greatest thing you will see this Christmas season
Brandon Rush posted these on his Twitter a little bit ago.
Kings are shopping Jason Thompson
I know some here somewhat covet him. Personally I think he's a solid player who can play either frontcourt spot, but I'm not convinced he's any kind of missing piece. I want a BIG piece added. Anyway, my mistake if this has been common knowledge, but Sacramento's apparently officially looking to move him now, per ESPN's Marc Stein.
Thompson is averaging just 15.4 minutes per game off the bench and has been shopped by the Kings, who according to one source with knowledge of the talks offered the 6-11, 250-pounder to Atlanta in a deal featuring young point guard Jeff Teague. The Hawks declined.
Magnum Rolle Signed
Pacers have signed 2nd-rounder Rolle to a 2-yr contract. They'll have to trade, buyout or release player by end of Oct to get to 15 players
Stephenson not allowed in the Fieldhouse
Pacers taking strong stance with Lance Stephenson. He hasn't been permitted to workout at Conseco since his alleged incident last month.
AND
Stephenson is working out with asst. coaches at different facility in Indy and also getting counseling help.
Rent Jamal Crawford?
Crawford wants to be traded if not extended
Jamal Crawford has told the Hawks he wants to be traded before the 2010-11 season if the team doesn’t offer a contract extension to his liking, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
#10 to OKC for Maynor + 18 + 21?
"Thunder holding serious talks with Pacers to trade Eric Maynor, 18th and 21st picks for Indy's 10th pick, sources tell Y!"
I'd really like that. I've been pushing Solo + 10 for Maynor + 21 for awhile now. Getting 18 as well'd be pretty sweet. Could reunite Maynor and Larry Sanders.
